Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

This place is worse. They don't respect to the patient. They may treat people differently if you are treated well you are lucky. I have been with them for a couple of years. They mistreated us not once but many times. I have been kept going there because it's so convenient for me as we go there for grocery and other things. They think that they are giving us free service. I am trying to switch this place. I hope they will not retaliate us before we do that. I agree with other people in the review "Rude and Unprofessional pharmacy I have ever dealt with". Please do something if someone is managing these people.

Normally I have no problems with this place, and the staff are usually kind and patient and understanding when it comes to any questions I have. They are the reason why this isn't a one star review. But this interaction I had just now with one pharmacist for the first time pushed me to write this review with a low rating. Unfortunately I didn't get any names, as speed walking out of that store before I started crying in front of a bunch of strangers became my top priority (even getting my groceries didn't matter anymore), but based on how he was dressed and that he was the one to come over to assist the blonde girl with my question at the counter tells me that he's one of the head pharmacists. And his lack of care to the situation is making me consider changing pharmacies after being here for a long while and getting along with pretty much everyone else, it was that humiliating. I didn't even get to ask all of my questions with how he practically forced me away from the counter with his attitude, including asking how they filled my prescription before without insurance being an issue if they supposedly can't do it now, and I left feeling like I was being punished for trying to understand it all. Honestly, even the blonde girl looked concerned by his behavior. This was one of only two days off I have this week, and now I have to hope that I can get my prescription filled tomorrow or else I'll be missing doses for one of my most important medications, as I only have one left, meaning I have to consider skipping a dose or missing work to get it filled. In the past here, I've had pharmacists help me find discounts or find some solutions for me to lessen the struggle. Now this one guy talking down to me and making me feel like a pathetic child has me crying in my car with no answers. If you're gonna be a pharmacist and help folks with the complexities with medicine and insurance, maybe learn to have some people skills, or at least a heart. Maybe Kroger should be more careful about who they bring in, cuz after years with no issues just one visit might be enough to make me leave. If nothing else, I'm at least doing my shopping elsewhere today. Genuinely, I feel like I might just turn around if I see him behind the counter next time, I'm that upset by this. I have never felt so humiliated by any pharmacy before in my life.

Pharmacy staff is very rude and dismissive. They do not want to help and will give you nothing but attitude. I would not recommend anyone going here. My whole family and extended family has all stopped doing business with this location. After seeing other very similar reviews over the past 6 months there seems to be a trend forming.
