  Amazing place. Easy access, great team, from the doctor to the assistents, front desk and sales representative, they are knowladgable, profesional, friendly. Grear frames variaty to choise from to. Highly recomended. This is my second year coming here and I plan on keep comming back. Thank you!!

  Spent almost a month trying to set up an appointment here through the VA community care. The VA faxed my referral to the store at least four times and the store still said they never received it. I spoke to multiple people at the front desk, including the manager and was told the fax never came through. I got a hardcopy mailed to me from the VA community care, and then called the store to see if they wanted me to fax it over personally. They told me I could bring it in when I came for my appointment. Prior to my appointment, I got three additional phone calls to confirm the appointment and ask about my insurance information. At that time I again explained that I was a referral from the VA community care. Again, I was told just to bring the referral information With me to my appointment. Today I finally showed up for my appointment at 2 PM to be told that they’re not taking VA Referrals at this time. When I asked if I could speak with Dr. Ferrara I was told they would have to take my information and have him call me at a later time. Ironically, I had a 2 o’clock appointment but he’s still not available to talk to me at 2 o’clock. This is even more disappointing since I’ve been using Dr. Ferraro for on and off for 30 years and Our family has been faithful to him when he’s been available through our insurance. The front desk associates are not knowledgeable and are extremely unprofessional. I’d recommend some significant training in their operations and Customer Service. Now I’ve got to go back to the drawing board and start the process all over. A genuine waste of my time. Truly disappointed.

  The actual eye exam was fine. Thorough and complete. I did not feel as if there was deficiency in the medical side. However I, after many years of going to Joyful Eyecare before Dr. F took over the practice in the Mall and after, will not be returning. This visit felt more like a sales pitch from a used car dealer and less like a visit for my eye care. He was more focused on story telling and how the future of eye care was here at his practice. When I asked a question I got the neutral, non-answer vice an answer in the name of "honest" care. Even my 19 year old son could tell he was more focused on being a businessman vs. medical provider. Congratulations on your growing business Dr. Your attitude today lost you two clients.
