I went here in 2020 before COVID shut everything down. Unfortunately, this factored into my results and follow up not happening. My results were not good. There was no phone call or anything for aftercare or checking up on. I have two dents in the front from the procedure, which I am self-conscious about, as well as two dark marks on my back. Majority of the lipo was taken right above the flanks, which more should have been taken from the flanks to improve the contour. Now, it makes my body look square from behind and like I have a weird muffin top. Just wish I got better results for the amount of money I paid. The procedure itself was easy. There was some pain...but nothing crazy. I still look back at this and have regrets, knowing that I could have had a sufficient result if I went elsewhere. It makes me upset that I left feeling less confident about my abdominal area.

Extremely Disappointed – Unethical Practices and Poor Follow-Up
I am writing this review as a warning to others considering this practice. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by misleading contract terms, overpriced services, and a complete lack of accountability once payment was processed.
Key concerns regarding my experience:
Misleading Practices & Unprofessionalism: After my surgery six months ago, it became clear that the procedure did not meet the agreed-upon standards. Despite this, the practice has refused to acknowledge the discrepancy or provide a remedy. I have been IGNORED for 6 months and I am left with a body that’s not even proportional anymore. I paid $6k for skin tightening that was never done and promises never fulfilled.
High Turnover & Lack of Continuity: Since my surgery 6 months ago , the original surgeon Dr Moshyedi, the patient advocate Brie , and the office manager Kristine have all left the practice!!!!! This has left me with no point of contact and no resolution for my concerns.they have no basic human decency for others and I promise you everything they tell you at your consultation is a lie. I have been waiting for the office manager to contact me for 2 weeks , I called and every time , she was in a “meeting” but when I called from my husbands number as a new patient, they called me right back the same day . I can’t tell you how shady this practice is.
Lack of Communication: I have attempted to reach out to the new staff multiple times over the past three weeks, pleading for them to address the issues with my results. I have been completely ignored.
Concern Over Reviews: I feel it is important to note that practice appears to solicit, and potentially pressure, patients to remove negative reviews. I was harassed by the previous office manager to change my bad review to a 5 star and I caved because I was scared going under the knife without meeting my them where they wanted to meet.
I feel left with an unsatisfactory result , more emotional and mental pain , worse body and 25k less than I started with these crooked people. They have a complete lack of support. I urge anyone considering this office to look elsewhere. They have shown zero interest in patient care or ethical standards.
I am documenting this here to ensure my experience is on the record, and I intend to provide further updates as I pursue resolution.

My experience at Airsculpt was excellent. I like to thank Dr. Jamal Yousefi, nurse Akisha, consultant Whitney Janifer, and Practice Manager Erika Maldinado. They treated me like a queen and made me feel comfortable. I would do this over and over before I let a doctor cut me. Thank you Airscuplt for my great experience with you ❤️

I am usually one of the ones where nothing comes out as expected or even in the ballpark of what is expected. But, not this time.
I have been on many diets and weight fluctuations for most of my life. I know I was easily pushing 250lbs at a time in my life. In 2022, I got serious about waiting to be healthier, look better, and most importantly, feel better. I lost a good 30lbs and have maintained that. I still need to lose more, but in time I will.
There are parts of my body that mo amount of balanced eating and exercise will help, so I reached out to AirSculpt.
I was impressed at the consultation appointment that I actually met with the doctor, Dr. Kirit Bhatt.
I did my upper and lower abdomen, waist and flanks, back bra roll and arms with AirSculpt Plus. In addition to that, I also did the up-a-cup.
I am officially at the 3-month mark and I am truly impressed with my results. Now, it's time for me to put effort into making them even better. I still have my inner thighs and knees to do, which will be this fall.
I can't wait to see my results when all is said and done.

I really had a wonderful experience with the Airsculpt team. Dr. Yousefi was great and really patient with me throughout the whole process. He set realistic expectations and made sure to explain everything he planned to do. My pain tolerance isn’t the highest but this truly wasn’t bad at all and the whole team was super nice and calming throughout the whole process.
Frequently Asked Questions About AirSculpt - Washington D.C.
What is AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® is a patented, minimally invasive fat removal procedure that removes fat cell by cell through a small entry point without scalpels or stitches. The procedure also tightens the skin, offering smooth and natural results for patients seeking body contouring in Washington, DC.
Is AirSculpt® invasive?
AirSculpt® is minimally invasive and does not require general anesthesia. Patients are awake during the procedure, and most return to daily activities within 24 to 48 hours. It is an efficient and low-downtime option for body sculpting in Washington, DC.
Am I a good candidate for AirSculpt®?
You may be a strong candidate if you are over 18 and have pockets of stubborn fat that do not respond to diet and exercise. AirSculpt® is commonly selected by individuals planning a mommy makeover in Washington, DC, or looking to refine their contours without surgery.
How is AirSculpt® different from traditional liposuction?
AirSculpt® is performed without general anesthesia and involves less trauma to surrounding tissues than traditional lipo. It offers a quicker recovery and smoother results, making it a preferred choice for body contouring in Washington, DC.
How many AirSculpt® treatments are needed per area?
Most patients need only one treatment per area. The fat is permanently removed during the procedure, and many Washington DC body sculpting patients choose to address multiple areas at once for a more complete transformation.
How long is the downtime or recovery?
Downtime is minimal. Most patients return to work and daily routines within one to two days. A compression garment is typically worn for about two weeks to reduce swelling and support shaping.
How much does AirSculpt® cost?
Costs depend on the area treated and the volume of fat removed. Whether you are planning a full mommy makeover in Washington, DC, or focusing on one area, a personalized quote will be provided during your consultation.
Can I use someone else’s fat for a fat transfer?
No. AirSculpt® fat transfer procedures require the use of your own fat. This applies to breast or hip enhancement as part of a mommy makeover treatment plan.
How long do I wear a compression garment after fat transfer?
Patients typically wear the garment continuously for 48 hours after the procedure, then daily for the next two weeks. This helps minimize swelling and maintain new contours.
What’s included in a Full Abdominal AirSculpt®?
The full abdominal treatment includes the upper and lower abdomen, waist, and love handles. It is frequently selected by patients undergoing a mommy makeover in Washington, DC, for post-pregnancy reshaping.
Can I treat just one area?
Yes. You may treat a single area or combine zones based on your goals. Popular areas for body sculpting in Washington, DC include the chin, arms, abdomen, and thighs.
Can I lose my double chin completely?
Many patients experience a complete or dramatic reduction of submental fat. AirSculpt® offers a minimally invasive alternative to chin liposuction in Washington, DC, with fast recovery and natural-looking results.
How bad is bruising after a chin procedure?
Bruising is usually mild to moderate and resolves within one to two weeks. Aftercare instructions will be provided to help support a smooth recovery.
How long does a Chin AirSculpt® procedure take?
Chin AirSculpt® typically takes 20 to 40 minutes. It is a fast and effective option for facial contouring with minimal interruption to your routine.
Do you treat areas above the chin (cheeks, eyelids, etc.)?
No. AirSculpt® is designed for the area beneath the chin and does not treat upper facial areas.
What does Chin AirSculpt® feel like?
Patients describe it as a light vibration, similar to an electric toothbrush. It is well tolerated and does not require general anesthesia.
Can older adults get AirSculpt®?
Yes. Many patients in Washington, DC choose AirSculpt® later in life to target fat and mild skin laxity in areas such as the neck, arms, or abdomen without undergoing traditional surgery.
How long should I wait to get AirSculpt® after childbirth?
You should wait at least three months after a vaginal delivery or six months after a C-section. This is especially important for mommy makeover patients in Washington, DC, undergoing abdominal or fat transfer procedures.
When should I stop breastfeeding before my procedure?
Breastfeeding may continue up to the day of the procedure, but must be paused afterward until your provider confirms it is safe to resume.
What part of the arms are treated with AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® treats the entire upper arm from the elbow to the armpit, including bra rolls and underarm fat. It is a common area treated during body contouring in Washington, DC.
Is there enough fat in the arms for a transfer?
Arm fat may be suitable for small-volume transfers, such as to the hands, but typically not for larger procedures. Your provider will assess fat availability during consultation.
How much fat can be removed from the arms?
The amount varies based on your body type and goals. Your Washington, DC provider will develop a plan to safely remove fat while achieving your desired outcome.
Does AirSculpt® tighten skin?
Yes. Skin tightens naturally during fat removal. For additional tightening, AirTite, a radio-frequency skin tightening procedure, may be recommended for optimal results.
How soon will I see results?
Results are visible immediately and continue to improve over three to six months. Many Washington, DC patients schedule AirSculpt® to prepare for travel, events, or personal milestones.
Can AirSculpt® fix previous liposuction procedures?
