Dr. Patel is both a dentist and a physician, completing both is medical and dental degrees at Columbia University. He finished his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. During his training, he participated with Healing the Children in the countries of Columbia and Ecuador treating children with cleft lips and palates. Dr. Patel was also part of one of the first teams involved in CT guided implant placement at Columbia University. Dr. Patel was born and raised in Philadelphia and went to Boston University for college. Dr. Patel, his wife and three children enjoy spending time together and enjoy traveling.

- AHAshley HallJun 25, 20265.0I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday by Dr. Jungwirth and his surgical assistant. Scheduling was super easy and it was a breeze. I was opted for moderate sedation and one minute I was asking what med he was giving through my IV the next minute I was in my mom’s car with zero pain. Now that the local has worn off my max pain has been a 2-3/10 which is managed strictly with ibuprofen. Great practice.
