  It took over an a hour to be seen. The staff were rude and condescending from the front desk to the nurses. I truly believe it was because I was hispanic. The staff were all white. The nurses stand in there section talking crap about the patients in an area where patients in rooms can hear. It was sad people who are in healthcare treat patients so horrible.

  Amazing Surgeons & Medical Team at this practice!!! They are professional, calming, & efficient. My husband & I are so happy that our cataract removals/new lens insertion have gone so GREAT!!! We so appreciate the team's caring, kindness, & warmth. We highly recommend Dr. McGehee, Joel, the helpful clerk who gets one checked-in, Claire, Paula, Emily, & all of the others whose names escape me at this time.

  Rockingham Eye is a huge practice that has mastered the art of making each patient feel special and important. I could hear other patients getting the same treatment as me but i still felt extremely important. Dr Miller is professional and caring and has a great understanding of my interests.

  I am a first time patient here, having moved from out of state. I am impressed with the friendly and professional staff. Everyone took time to explain the testing and procedures to me. Dr Kaufman is professional and knowledgeable. He also took time to ensure I understand my eyes! We will be returning patients!

  There were 2 significant problems: The person that did my eye exam did not position the machine correctly. I told her twice that the machine was not positioned correctly. I was completely ignored. When I got my new glasses they are so far out of focus that it Is impossible to wear them. A complete waste, but more important is that my current glasses are 3 years old and my vision has deuterated. I need new glasses. I have Macular degeneration and diabetes. I had with me a bottle of expensive eye drops that contained steroids. I explained to Dr. M- how I used the eye drops and the results. The only words DR. M- spoke during my entire visit were: (1) it has been five years since I saw you and (2) use artificial tears 4 times a day. Not a single word about my eye exam. In essence there was absolutely no conversation or communication of value during my examination. W.H. (examination 7/28/2026)
