Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

🤩exceptional! Ended up here despite my insurance (Cigna’s highest plan) for some reason not covering good pharmacies like Kroger when my mom & I became sick of the inability to reach the pharmacies Cigna does cover or get them to have things ready within a few days or a week AFTER the refill deadline for several months 🙄.
The Kroger team (Angel Michael and Amy), was quick, responsive , answered their phones!!! and were caring, empathetic and helpful 💗Angel Michael managed to help use a prescription savings card to decrease my out of pocket uninsured cost from approx $300 to approx $60 for a 60 day supply of a medication and everything was wrapped up without 6-8 hours on hold calling or repeated trips to remind them a prescription was due over a week ago like their competitors (I can’t even drive post a medical procedure spinal injury so most the burden on my poor mother for the other pharmacy).
I will be lobbying Cigna to put Kroger on coverage and drop the pharmacies unable to operate functionally every chance I get and in the meantime will gladly pay more out of pocket for service where phones are answered, refills are filled timely and the people care so much about customers they go above and beyond to help the customer find affordable options 🙏🥲 Thank you!

Stopped keeping my medication in stock because they said it's not something they regularly fill however they're always out of it so clearly that isnt the case. When I asked if there was anything we could do to keep it in stock so this issues doesnt keep arising, pharmacist was rude and told me they dont do special requests for their customers. I'll never go back here again.
