  I have been to two different Eye Care and Surgery offices during the last 2 weeks. The staff have been exceptional, kind and caring. Dr. Eng was professional and caring. I was anticipating a procedure would be done on my second appointment and to my surprise Dr. Eng stated it was not required and should resolve on its own. I can’t say enough about this practice!

  Best experience I’ve ever had since going to Eye Care and Surgery for my eye care! Dr. Coolball and his nurses are respectful, knowledgeable and efficient, making sure of patient understanding of intended procedure. From entering to exiting the Clinic, it was a very pleasant experience!

  Dr. Eng and his staff are marvelous! I just completed a new patient visit this week. I am a senior citizen with a complicated eye history and treatment. I found Dr. Eng to be empathetic and professional, listening to my concerns and providing a plan of treatment. His staff at every touch point is just so professional and kind. I am blessed to have found Dr. Eng and his practice and highly recommend Eye Care Surgery for dedicated by people that really care about the patient!

  Highly recommend this location for your eye care needs. Staff is super friendly and respectful. Kayla in contacts was very informative with the different options of contacts and was informative about the process during the exam. Highly recommend. Very professional staff

  Dr. Thompson, I am writing this review regarding my recent Botox treatment for the twitching of my lower right eyelid, which I had been experiencing for approximately nine months. After discussing the issue with my primary care physician and being reassured that there was no underlying medical concern, I made an appointment with your office. A different doctor initially evaluated me and determined that Botox would be an appropriate treatment for the eye spasm. I subsequently returned for an appointment with Dr. Thompson, who performs the Botox injections. The twitching was primarily occurring at the back right corner of my lower right eyelid. During the treatment, Botox was injected into the back right corner, the front right corner, and the upper right eyelid on both sides. No Botox was administered to my left eye. The injections were performed on a Monday. By Tuesday morning, I woke up unable to close my right eye. The right side of my face and eye appeared significantly different from the left, and the eye felt heavy and continuously watered. I contacted the office twice and also sent photographs because I was concerned about the extent of the weakness and inability to close my eye. I understand that temporary weakness can be a possible effect of Botox, but I was not aware that the treatment could result in being unable to close my eye to this degree. While the original twitching has stopped, I essentially feel that I have traded one problem for another. I am now dealing with an eye that feels heavy, waters throughout the day, cannot completely close, and has developed noticeable drooping of the lower eyelid. I subsequently called because I was hoping there might be something that could be done to make the appearance and sensation more symmetrical. I was hoping Botox could be administered to the left side, and I was willing to pay for any additional treatment myself. I was not asking for free Botox or attempting to obtain additional treatment at no cost. I was simply looking for some assistance with a situation that resulted from the treatment. I was told to give it a week, which I understood. However, I have now heard absolutely nothing further from the office. I find the lack of follow-up particularly disappointing. I work in the medical field myself, and when a patient reports a significant concern or unexpected result following a procedure, I believe appropriate follow-up and communication are extremely important. At this point, I have decided that I will not be returning to the practice. My concern is not that the Botox did not work—the twitching has stopped. My concern is the significant effect the treatment has had on my ability to close my eye, the discomfort and watering I am experiencing, and the lack of follow-up after I contacted the office with those concerns. I wanted to make you aware of my experience because I believe it is important for the office to understand how this situation was handled from the patient’s perspective. Sincerely, Wendy Oliver
