- MZMarge Ziemba5 days ago2.0The txt I received 10/31 had the WRONG time of my appointment.
- CWCathy WydnerSep 21, 20262.0I saw Dr. Eng for cataract removal. The IV shot I got before surgery did not effect me. As they were cleaning the eye area of my face I could feel every touch. My eye was not numbed. I asked them to stop before they attempted the surgery. In order to use a general anesthesia my PCP had to arrange a lab test and an EKG. I passed the tests and they approved me. Dr. Eng's nurse called and arranged the surgery. A week later they called again. Dr. Eng did not accept me for surgery. They would not tell me why he refused to do it. He referred me to go to UVA and have it done. Being senior and disabled I can't drive and I do not have anyone to take me to UVA. I do not know why he would not refer me to another doctor in Roanoke. I am obese and I have Epilepsy, I wonder if either of those conditions are what caused him to refuse to operate on my eyes.
