Dr. Patel is both a dentist and a physician, completing both is medical and dental degrees at Columbia University. He finished his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. During his training, he participated with Healing the Children in the countries of Columbia and Ecuador treating children with cleft lips and palates. Dr. Patel was also part of one of the first teams involved in CT guided implant placement at Columbia University. Dr. Patel was born and raised in Philadelphia and went to Boston University for college. Dr. Patel, his wife and three children enjoy spending time together and enjoy traveling.

- RIRenee IversonJun 2, 20264.0My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Patel for two extractions, both on the right side. Dr. Patel was great and I would happily go back to him, but I’m taking off one star because his staff is flaky so you have to pay attention. They sent me appointment confirmation requests with two different times on them. They invoiced me after I had already paid. Then in the chair as I was being prepped, the assistant swabbed the left side of my mouth. I said it should be on the right side. She told me he was going to numb both sides. I ‘m surprised and thinking about how I won’t even be able to drink water for hours. Then Dr. Patel comes in and does no such thing of course. He numbed just the right side and had those teeth out in a jiffy. So no harm was done but this kind of thing does not inspire confidence.

They were attentive to my needs, proactive, flexible, and very professional. Dr Jungwirth was kind, relatable, and very professional as well. Besides the “pinch” of the shots, I never felt any pain. Hoping that I would not need these services again, but if I do, I’ll be calling them again. We’ll done!
