Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Slowest pharmacy I've ever experienced and won't call you to tell you that there's a delay in a medicine you or your child needs. You would think they would have the common curiosity to do that. For example, they delayed my daughter's ear infection medicine and they wouldn't have done anything unless I said something. Poor excuse for a pharmacy.

The pharmacy is garbage. They don't notify when prescriptions are ready or message u saying is an it hasn't been filmed. Long lines cause not enough employees and don't know how to update the information when a new script is sent.

I have been going to this Kroger pharmacy since Kroger opened up at this location. They used to have excellent service. I once gave a glowing proud review of the service that I was receiving from this pharmacy. But since then, the people that gave me such great service have left. now I know there's a lot going on during the pandemic, but these last 6 months there's no excuse for them! I am a full-time caregiver and have no help whatsoever!!! So this makes it difficult for me to leave, to go make trips to the store. this location has consistently in the past 6 months, called me and told me that my prescriptions were ready, I even gave them two hours after I received the call to go pick them up. I get there and they tell me that my prescription is not ready, or that they don't have any in stock. the same thing happened to me yet again tonight! I am so angry with these people right now, I could spit fire! They have had me come three different days in a row to pick up a set of prescriptions that I called in at the same time! So that's three trips three days in a row! To only tell me that one of the prescriptions in the group won't be ready until 2 days from today! Now that's four days out of seven, that I have to go back out! when I told the technician this in the drive-thru, she claims the automated system does give an RX number, but it does not! I listen to the whole phone call before hanging up! These people really need to get their poop together! Or I will no longer be visiting this location! I will transfer every prescription to CVS or some other pharmacy!!! you guys need to get it together! I know the pandemic is putting stress on everyone, but it's not just you!!! you need to update your stupid automated system, so that it kicks your prescription out if it's not allowed to be filled, or if there is no medicine in stock! Be specific in your automated calls, and say this prescription is now ready. Because I have called three prescriptions in before, only to have one of them ready. The world does not revolve around Kroger pharmacy! And I'm not saying it revolves around me either. But they have backup and I don't!
