  If you have a child with a disability don't go to this establishment. Dr. Kauffman III didn't act in a professional manner. When I tried to assist him in how to get the best response from my child I was met with I've got it as if I was interrupting the exam. This is our first time here unless you have some knowledge of my child you clearly don't specialize in this area, let me help assist you. When Dr. Kauffman didn't get the results he wanted we were told we need to reschedule, and that my child was acting like a kindergartener. He said this only works if you cooperate! My child currently wears glasses so they have cooperated with another doctor before. My child is not a kindergartener, however my child does have special needs. They require a little more time to answer, they do get over stimulated. All this was put in the notes for today's appointment. I wanted this eye exam to be as seamless as possible and it was just the opposite. To the tech who assisted my child with the retinal exam thank you!! Thank you for taking the extra time needed to get the job done correctly. Thank you for treating my child like any other patient that comes through your doors. Thank you for your professionalism!! Please help Dr. Kauffman to see that patients are more than just an appointment time slot. Imagine having the stress of getting ready for back to school on top of a doctor who insults a child with no regard to how his words affect them! I did bring the matter to the attention of the front desk. August did apologize on Dr. Kauffman III behalf. It's just unfortunate that we had to experience this type of behavior.

  Front desk was very efficient and organized. The eye doctor's assistant was very pleasant. The eye doctor seemed engaged and concerned about my eye health.
