  Wonderful experience from start to finish. Dr. Tan has great bedside manners, eased the surgery anxiety, explained option clearly and the procedure went very well. Highly recommend!!

  Dr. Peter Tan, Jr., DDS, FACS is an absolutely exceptional oral and maxillofacial surgeon! My son is 17 years old and on the autism spectrum and speech-delayed. His wisdom teeth were impacted. I am a physician and an ophthalmic surgeon, and I cannot praise Dr. Tan highly enough! Dr. Tan skillfully removed all of my son’s wisdom teeth using only local anesthetic injections and nitrous. He was and calm and reassuring throughout the entire procedure, and he and his wonderful and kind assistant, Shauntel, put us at ease and made the experience wonderful! Dr. Tan and his team provided thorough post-operative instructions and a pint of chocolate ice cream for my son to take home! He is recovering beautifully! I hold Dr. Tan in the highest regard! He is personable and caring, and he is an outstanding surgeon! Shauntel was an absolute angel who was so gentle with my son, and made us feel calm as soon as we arrived and throughout the entire procedure. Shauntel explained post-operative instructions in detail. I will be scheduling my other son’s wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Tan, as well. I am genuinely appreciative for Dr. Tan and his extraordinary expertise!

  I had the best experience at Northern Virginia Oral Surgery Center in Gainesville VA. Dr. Chu is AWESOME! He walked me through each and every step as he did my extractions. He knew which medications to prescribe to help with my recovery, had them sent to my pharmacy, and was ready by the time I got home. They even gave me this cool ice pack that goes around my head and applies the ice right where it is needed. The office and Dr. Chu checked in on me the evening after the oral surgery but also the next day. I will recommend Northern Virginia Oral Surgery Center to anyone in need of their services especially Dr. Chu. Melissa Sprow

  I can’t thank the doctors and staff enough for the care I received. They were able to get me in the very same day, even though I had been dealing with severe tooth pain for months. They extracted both of my problem teeth, and the relief was almost immediate. The pain that had been bothering me for so long is finally gone, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Everyone was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for a dental office that truly cares about its patients and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend them. Thank you again for giving me my quality of life back!

  Dr. Tan was amazing! He and his team are wonderful, professional, caring and personable! They were patient with me and calming. I had to have a wisdom tooth taken out for the first time and I am in my 50's. And Dr. Tan gave me options, was honest with me and truly listened to my concerns. My surgery was pain free and felt like it was quick! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him! As for the staff, they too are fantastic! They all made my experience smooth and easy! I don't think one could top him and his team!
