  I spoke with Kristy about the program who was very nice and took her time to explain the program to me. She scheduled me and reassured me that the two nurses at this location would go thru the diet plan and explain the process in detail with me regarding my results if I decided to join that day. At the apt, I spoke with a nurse who didn't believe me when I told her my insurance doesnt cover certain medications. I am very knowledgeable regarding health insurance due to my profession and I did not appreciate my concerns being dismissed. However, I continued the process. I had a breath metabolism test done which produced results that they did not explain. The other nurse there gave me a menu and my calorie range along with other information which was not explained to me. I didnt say much at the time because I figured there was a miscommunication regarding me being able to sign up instead of just having a consult. So I was trying to be understanding as I figured they squeezed me in. Anyway, I started the diet and a few days in I started to have chest pains and shortness of breath. I called the Woodbridge office asking to speak with Kristy, however they just took my information and relayed it to her. I never received a return call. I spoke with my PCP, who long story short, stated due to the extreme diet change, there was a fluid exchange in my body. This resulted my BP sky rocketing everytime I exerted myself (150/90+). My PCP stated if I had taken the phentermine that Kristy has prescribed I could have had a stroke. I called today to cancel my appointment and spoke with Kristy, when she asked why I wasnt. Participating in the program, I told her I asked for a return phone call from her. Kristy stated she runs multiple offices and she basically doesnt see all her messages because she is busy. I told her of the events mentioned above and what my PCP said. She just said thanks for the information and disconnected the call. Not worth the money, time, or headache. Just want to profit off of you. I feel they dont care about their clients based on how I wass treated. I feel they want to push medications before ensuring its approrpiate for the client to take it and god forbid your insurance doesnt cover it. No support they say they claim to have. I would NOT recommend this place.

  Staff is very nice and pleasant. They take their time to explain everything without rushing . So far I've lost 12 lb. in 1 month and a week and I am feeling amazing 😍

  I’ve been seeing Medi in FXBG for about a month and a half. I’ve tried to lose weight for over 15 years but couldn’t due to having health issues that prevented weight loss. Medi helped me get both medical and psychiatric diagnoses that confirm it’s not all in my head and I haven’t been “not trying hard enough” and that alone has been life changing. The weekly visits give me someone to talk to about my struggles and progress, and help me see how well it’s working. The program is almost completely covered by my insurance and they helped get me GLP-1 coverage through insurance as well. Don’t get me wrong - the diet is killer. It’s hard and very overwhelming at first - but totally doable with the help of the office and “Medi-friendly” recipes. They sell lots of food products to help you stay on the plan which are hit or miss but definitely worth a try. I’ve gotten more creative with my cooking. I’ve gotten more energy. And for the first time in 15 years I have hope that this is finally going to work.

  Medifast is reasonably priced for the injections I received. I’m actually having great weight loss results and the staff is very friendly and supportive! I’m ready for the change in my health.
