- AHAnt HazletonMay 28, 20261.0I broke my glasses and have been dealing with blurry vision for a month. I was 12 minutes late because Google Maps brought me to the "MyEyeDr" that was literally just a half a mile from Hawthorne Eye Care. I typed in "Hawthorne Eye Care" and clicked the first thing that popped up. I immediately called and explained the situation. I told them I would be there in just moments. The lady was rude and told me we would have to reschedule for the following month because they don't accept anybody that's more than 5 minutes late. It's just so pathetic. Hawthorne Eye Care has no sympathy for blurry vision. Doctors make patients wait on a regular basis. At my job, we work late on a regular basis. We do what we have to do to get the job done. You are getting paid. I should not have to wait to reschedule another appointment. Things happen. I accidentally broke my glasses and I scheduled this appointment a month ago. I've dealt with blurry vision for a month and took the day off of work for this. So because of just minutes, I have to have blurry vision for 3 more weeks? This is unacceptable. They'll make you wait for a month but won't wait for you for a few minutes. I guess I have to take my business to America's best, something I did not want to do because they don't accept my insurance and it's out of pocket. Good news is that I called them as soon as I got home and they already have me booked for this Saturday. Much better. Worth 100$ I guess. Should have done it a month ago. Thanks Hawthorne Eye Care. 1 star. I do not recommend. 👎👎
