  I recently needed to have 3 teeth extracted, and it was hands down the best experience I've ever had out of all the oral surgeons, as well as dentists I've been to in my life (which is several). Despite my anxiety and general mistrust, I felt safe. I felt listened to, and Dr. Burgoyne was amazing. She was very kind, efficient and surprisingly gentle considering the forces necessary to remove teeth, haha! Bonus points that there was no one in the office trying to upsell me implants or lines of credit or whatever else. I really appreciated not having to stress or think about anything other than what I went in for. It makes a lot of difference, to me anyways. The whole office was nice and professional.

  My dentist told me I needed one tooth extracted due to a crack in its root! They referred me to Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I am disabled, and was very worried. Everyone there made me feel that I was in the very best, caring hands. They were very gentle, and everything was fully explained. I was given several decisions, and the staff helped me understand what to expect. The extraction was quick and nearly painless… I was so thankful! Yes, they are truly there for you, and respectful of your comfort. I’m so glad to know they’ll be there for me if I need them again!

  The doctors and staff are competent professionals, and present information on any course of action that may be needed by the patient. Any surgery undertaken is done with precision and the confidence born of experience. While it's a good idea to never have to go to Blue Ridge for a procedure, you're in good hands here when life requires more than just a cleaning or cavity filling.

  I went for a consultation for a tooth extraction. I am terrified of having a tooth pulled! Everyone was exceptionally nice and explained all options for a pain free experience. I have not had the extraction done yet but so far everything is going great!

  Walked in to a very friendly atmosphere and was met by a smiling, very polite receptionist. She took my info and within minutes a nurse came and got me and took me back to the surgical room. She also was courteous and friendly and after a short wait Dr Burgoyne came in and we chatted and I told her I was getting ready to leave for the Outer Banks in a few days and had a tooth that I didn't want to take along. Her smile and words indicated (she already had some info on the situation) that she would fix me right up. Dr Burgoyne was true to her word. Within a short time I was on my way home with a set of care instructions and am now focused on the Outer Banks. Thank you Dr Burgoyne and your competent assistants for this positive experience.
