  Ordered a pair of glasses, and while they waived the shipping fee (without me asking), they never shipped the glasses. They told me to ignore the text confirming my glasses arrived in store, but I heard nothing after that. I called after two weeks of waiting to ask what's going on, no one answered, and their answering machine doesn't take messages. It does tell you that they will return the call within two business days. That call never came. It turns out my glasses were sitting in their store, bright yellow highlighter on the order slip to identify it as an order to ship, yet it sat there for three weeks. The only way they offered to make it right was to allow me a refund or to give me 50% off a second pair of glasses. I will not be getting my next pair of glasses here.

  Susannah was such a queen, thank you girlie for helping get my glasses ordered! She literally found the perfect frames that I instantly fell in love with. Not only made my day but also the dreadful annual eyewear buying so much better! Thank yewww :)

  Office staff was not knowledgeable and office tools are out of date. Dr was rude and unprofessional, customer service was awful …..Don’t go to this location in Fair Oaks Mall to visit this Dr. T. Bad service. The receptionist told me I needed to reschedule because I didn’t have my FSA card with me to pay for an 35.00 test, I told her I can get the eye exam without the extra test she asked the Dr. and came back to the front to tell me I needed to reschedule refused to see me and even forgot to give me I D back.

  I never knew buying eyeglasses would be such a manipulative process. Today I was charged for a Protection Plan for my recently purchased (today)Progressive lens. I was not ask if I wanted to purchase the plan. Which by the way is not covered by insurance. The salesperson tried to slip it by me telling me, as she handed me my receipt, that I my glasses came with a 1 year protection plan against scratches. She never told me she was charging me $44.99 for this plan nor did she ever ask me if I wanted to purchase the plan. The store manager at this particular location in Fair Oaks Mall is very manipulative and I feel like trains her sales people on these types of tactics. Apparently their compensation is tied to how much they can up sell you above and beyond what you need. For example, “premium lenses” vs “Regular lenses” I’m normally am cognizant of their sleazy Sales tactics and I’m able to just say no to all the extra unnecessary stuff they try to charge you. Today was a new level of deception. I’m very disappointed that a company as large as LensCrafters would promote this type of behavior for their customers. When I recognized what they had done, about 30 minutes, after I left the store I called to get them to credit my card for the plan they charged me for that I did not agree to and the Manager said but” the sales person showed you what you were paying for.” The sales manager was not involved in my transaction so I asked her how she would know what the sale person disclosed and what she didn’t say. She was not happy and said she’d talk to the sales person. I told her I wanted a credit for that protection plan charge and I do not agree to that charge. She said she was busy and needed to go because she had a customer. I asked her to call me back once she had credited my card. As of this review, she has not called me back In summary, BE AWARE that LensCrafters will engage in these types of practices, at least the LensCrafters at Fair Oaks Mall in Northern Virginia, which is very disheartening.
