  I had an appointment today and let me tell you the reviews on here are very much on par with how I was treated. Called and cancelled my Colonoscopy and will be seeing a practice you actually cares about their patients. I spoke the nurse longer than I spoke with the Dr.. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

  Please read the review I gave this place two stars because there’s two ladies that work there there’s a young African-American girl that takes your blood pressure and vitals, which is awesome and understands and listens more than doctor and then there’s Rita, which is wonderful listens and pays attention more than a doctor. He continuously wants to give you colonoscopy instead of listening and following simple textbook understanding after to day I will not go back. There is a lady at the front desk, Caucasian lady with kind of decayed teeth. I told her on the way out that he didn’t listen and she goes. Oh I have nothing to with that as if she couldn’t give a little advice, maybe he just had a rough day today very bad for business and people’s comfort .and I did like him at first, but he’s not paying attention to anything. I do not recommend this people to anyone. It’s the doctor Patel. It is not the staff. 🛑 it’s sad. I really hate to leave a bed review !! but I don’t trust this guy as far as caring for your health or listening and it’s our body

  Doctor pandya was pleasant but the anesthesiologist was awful. I'll be transferring my care elsewhere because the anesthesiologist anounced my meds across clear to the other side of the room..Even the nurse looked at him like he lost his mind. They need a refresher course on hippa

  I cannot recommend Dr. Patel based on my experience. After my colonoscopy, I was told that the golf ball-sized mass they found was "probably cancer" and that I would likely need a total colectomy, a life-changing surgery. My family and I spent three incredibly stressful weeks believing that was the most likely outcome. When the pathology results finally came back, they showed no cancer. My experience throughout the office was disappointing. The nurse who drew my blood was unable to find a vein, despite that never being an issue for me before, and my arm was badly bruised for more than a week afterward. My final report also contained numerous spelling and grammatical errors, which further undermined my confidence in the level of care and attention to detail. I later sought a second opinion at Duke. The surgeon there explained that I may not need surgery at all. If surgery is necessary, it is expected to be the least invasive option, not the life-changing procedure I had been led to expect. That consultation gave me far more confidence in my treatment plan. This was the most unprofessional medical experience I have ever had, and it is why I chose to continue my care elsewhere and would not return to Dr. Patel.

  My first and last visit with this gastroenterologist was a complete waste of time. As the only provider in the Danville area who accepts Medicaid, he appears to view patients as inconveniences rather than individuals seeking care. Despite arriving with an open mind, I found him rushed, dismissive, and shockingly disengaged during both visits. He offered little more than hasty guesses, showed no interest in listening to my concerns, and refused to address my legitimate questions about my health and upcoming procedure. When I attempted to speak with him, I was curtly informed that "she will take care of you now," as he literally fled the room. The individual he pointed to appeared to be administrative staff, not a medical professional, and was equally rude when I sought basic clarification. This physician has a well-known reputation in the community for precisely this behavior, along with concerns regarding unsanitary practices. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend him to anyone. Patients deserve better than this level of arrogance and indifference, Medicaid or otherwise. I did get a calm back from them and the lady from the back apologized for her behavior but never would answer if she was a nurse or just a check out lady.... hm.
