Johnson Curran Optometry Centers, PC has had a long, successful history in Southwest Virginia. The practice was founded by Dr. Ronald Blum in 1977. In 1980, with the addition of Dr. Miles Newman, the practice became Blum, Newman & Associates, PC, Optometrists. Dr. Joe Blackstock joined the partnership in 1983. Following Dr. Blum's retirement in 1996, the practice was renamed Newman, Blackstock and Associates, PC until January 2015, when Drs. Newman and Blackstock sold the practice to two longtime associates, Dr. Michael Johnson and Dr. Patrick Curran. The practice has had the privilege of caring for multiple generations of patients over the past several decades. PLEASE NOTE: SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
