Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. We had to use them because our insurance wouldn’t let us get prescriptions from Walgreens who I’ve been with forever. Almost every time I got a prescription it was the wrong amount and not billed right or would just sit in processing for days and I would have to call. They even had my husband’s name spelled wrong on two occasions. They just don’t seem very professional. Never really was helpful with anything I asked, actually pretty rude. Thankful to be back with Walgreens again now.

If one takes "controlled" substances, it's impossible to get them filled at the same time UNLESS the doctor writes them for all the same date. Allegedly it's a DEA law, but I never had that issue with Walgreens, who I was with for many years. I had to make two trips in 3 days because my prescriptions couldn't be filled at the same time, then when I arrived on the day it could be filled it ssill wasn't ready. The only reason I use this pathetic pharmacy is because they accept Good Rd, but I am practically spending more in gas running over here every couple of days than I am saving.

Fuel points for every refill. Its great to have a grocery store pharmacy with excellent service and better prices. Consumer reports review on pharmacies show that grocery stores and some other local ones have better prices, sometimes by 1 to 3 times savings. There is a s drive through I use when I am in a hurry. The online refill order system is good. I use the online refill order system when I can since it is easy and does not require human labor as much. Oh and I save about 2-4$ on gas each refuel just from getting prescriptions filled here. 😄👍
