Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

If I could give a zero star I would !!! ⭐️⭐️ I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience with this Kroger Pharmacy. Unfortunately, this is the closest pharmacy to us, so we’ve continued using it, but we are constantly having issues getting prescriptions filled. The communication is one of the biggest problems. The wait times on the phone can be extremely long, and when you finally get someone, the customer service often feels rushed. You can hear the frustration or impatience in their voice, and there have been multiple times where I’ve been talked over instead of being allowed to explain what a hospital or healthcare provider has instructed me to communicate to the pharmacy. Another major issue is the prescription turnaround time. It seems that regardless of whether a prescription is submitted in the morning or afternoon, we can end up waiting 2–3 days before it’s ready. That may not seem like a long time to some people, but when someone is elderly, sick, or has just been discharged from a hospital, those delays can be a serious problem. Especially if your elderly and depending of transportation or family have to wait just for nothing to be ready!!! I understand that pharmacies are busy and employees have a lot on their plates, but customers still deserve clear communication, patience, and basic courtesy. I really hope management addresses these issues because this pharmacy has the potential to provide much better service to the community. If you don’t enjoy working with or helping people, this may not be the right job. Customers shouldn’t feel like they’re inconveniencing you simply because they need help with their prescriptions.

If I could give this pharmacy a negative rating I would but since I can't I will give it 1 star. The way that this pharmacy operates is atrocious. To treat customers and patients the way they do they should really reconsider the staff that they have working in there. EVERYTIME I get my medication filled there is almost always a problem. You call and ask about your meds being ready and then they are either a. Not ready for hours or b. sometimes not ready for days. Everytime you call them they automatically put you on hold and do not even let you say a damn word when the call connects. From my own personal experience I am tired of being treated this way and also the staff being rude enough to hang up on a patient (myself) who has been reaching out for days on a medication that I literally can not be without is very disturbing. I love Kroger but this treatement at this pharmacy is unacceptable and it's a shame.. If anyone at their corporate office actually reads this or even a manager you really need take a look internally here because this is a shame and a huge disservice to people you all provide services too. After today I am unfortunately no longer going to be getting my persciptions filled here.

I'm giving three stars as a courtesy because the cashier was nice but I've had two major letdowns. The first was today when my doctor sent over a prescription over an hour ago and they acted like they didn't get it putting blame on the doctor who I double-checked with before I left to make sure it was already sent over. Then telling me to wait an extra hour and a half when I took off for work to pick this up. Poor operations, poor time management, or mishandling is no excuse to make the customer suffer. I had another issue when my doctor running a prescription and them not having the inventory. Were these two major mistakes, I question why I would want to continue business with an ill-prepared and poorly run operation business. Be better!

I looked this place up after I left to leave a review and all the reviews says what happened perfectly . The staff is lazy AS HELL . All of them it’s too HARD to go 4 extra steps to unlock a case INFRONT of the intake window . I understand you can be busy , BUT no one was there , all staff is just walking around like little sims and they can’t help me with their department ?? That’s insane
