My experience at the LensCrafters in The Shops at Stonefield in Charlottesville, VA was terrific. My principal optician, Milli, was friendly, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Heather and Jordan were also very friendly and helpful. They took the time to describe my options for lenses and frames in terms of quality and cost. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been here twice in a year and worked with different people each time. And both times were an experience! I absolutely dislike shopping and they make it fun and easy! Everyone is so knowledgeable, personable, honest and patient. A very well put together dedicated team! Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else after my experiences here!

I had an outstanding experience at LensCrafters and couldn’t be more impressed with the level of service and quality they provide. From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me find exactly what I needed. The staff took the time to explain my options clearly and made sure I felt confident in my choices. Their attention to detail and professionalism really stood out—it never felt rushed or impersonal. They worked together seamlessly, and it’s obvious they care about both their customers and the quality of their work. As for the glasses themselves, the quality is exceptional. The lenses are crystal clear, and the frames feel durable and well-made. Everything fits perfectly, and you can tell they use high-quality materials and take pride in what they deliver. The difference compared to other places I’ve tried is noticeable right away. Overall, LensCrafters exceeded my expectations in every way. Great team, top-tier products, and a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality eyewear and excellent service.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
