  Brie is very personable and conscientious; dedicated to her profession; both my husband and I were impressed. I observed her interactions with my husband as she found him the perfect hearing aid which he's been pleased with. She took extra care to make sure it worked perfectly and that he was pleased. I meant to post this last year after he had used his hearing aid for a bit, but procrastinated. My bad... I highly recommend her, she is patient and kind and has a special touch for us elders. We never had to call her for further need with the hearing aid he chose as well. We are going back for a yearly checkup today and are still pleased with the hearing aid she helped him choose....

  Rescheduled me due to "provider availability" so it took two weeks to get in for a simple screening. Didn't get an email confirmation of the appointment. Didn't get inform that the audiogram would not be conducted if there was an ear wax blockage found, which unfortunately there was. I understand why the screening couldn't happen and the VA law behind it, I do not understand the lack of forewarning and callousness of the screener at the time. Was told to basically "figure it out", no options to reschedule no information on who might be able to conduct the cleaning in the local area, which you think if it's so common they'd have on hand, nothing. Ended up getting the cleaning within an hour of the appointment at a CVS minute clinic and scheduled the screening I needed with a different provider, that was available much sooner than two weeks out...

  I went there initially for an evaluation which, indeed, indicated a hearing loss. That said, I was eager to see what I had been missing. Albemarle Audiology is the only place in Charlottesville that carries Phonak's Lyric hearing aids. With them, I am not aware I have a hearing loss. I would not trade them for any other device - and I have tried. The service Marion and her staff provide is great. I find making appointments for replacements to be an easy task. The actual time in office for the replacement is maybe 10-15 minutes ... every six weeks or so.
