While the facility is nice and staff are courteous, the process for canceling a membership is ridiculous. I went in to cancel and was given a paper form to fill out and turn back in. Since I didn’t have my glasses I said I would bring it back. When my daughter took it back she was told that they wouldn’t accept a paper copy and that I had to take a pic and email it back. I initially signed up for three months but their notes were so sketchy the young woman I spoke to couldn’t figure out what exactly I had signed up for so they continued to charge me on a month to month basis . So long story short, they say I owe them a past due balance of 249 and they will charge me an additional 249 dollars on October 23rd because they didn’t have 30 days notice. No other fitness programs require 30 days notice. You can cancel at any time and you don’t have to jump through hoops to do so. So now I have a membership at Pilates which I will not use because I really don’t like Pilates. The three month membership I thought I was signing up for was just to see how I liked it.

I am here visiting with a friend who comes here on a regular basis. I have never done pilates before and the Flow class was the perfect introduction. I look forward to joining in ona class again on my next visit with my friend.

Club Pilates Kingstowne helped me go from not exercising at all to taking classes 3x a week and feeling stronger, more confident and losing 10lbs. Group exercise can be intimidating for newcomers and the small class sizes and the studio environment is very approachable. I don't feel like I have to be perfect, or keep up with the people around me which set me on a very sustainable journey towards better health. Shout out to Nancy who reminds us every class to show up where you're at today and to feel good about it. Her warmth and positivity is welcoming, motivating and keeps me coming back each week.

Way overpriced for what you get. The Level 1.5 classes feel more like gentle stretching than an actual workout. If I'm paying for Pilates, I expect to leave feeling challenged—not like I just did a warm-up. I've taken multiple 1.5 classes that didn't even include an ab series. The problem is you're not allowed to move up until you complete a leveling workshop, which is only offered occasionally—sometimes not even once in an entire month—and it's usually on a weekend. If you work or have kids, good luck. The instructors are great, but the studio's policies and customer service are not. If you're brand new to Pilates, this studio will probably be fine. But if you have prior Pilates experience or are looking for workouts that will actually challenge you, build strength, and leave you feeling like you exercised, this isn't it. For the price, I'd expect a much better experience. I won't be renewing.
