Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Pretty crappy experience this morning, I went in there to get what I thought were fresh. Donuts for my guys at the office as I got there. The establishment was already open, but you have the donuts weren't placed out. I patiently waited and I ended up leaving because I couldn't get a fresh set of donuts very disappointing had to go to another location to acquire these items for my guys and base off the reviews that i'm seeing here doesn't look like this location.Even cares about what their customers feel.

They like to "look" closed early on Saturdays, that's what the pharmacy tech told me, when I tried to go through the drive-thru and the closed sign was down so had to ge out of the car, very sick btw, hence trying to be a good citizen and use the drive-thru, just tosee if it was open inside, and even inside they're pulling the gates parsley closed... It wouldn't have been a problem, except they had messer up the prescription twice since 10:00 a.m. If you're open until 6:00, stay open and look open... I saw two other cars drive through the drive-thru thinking it was closed.

These guys are great! Always working their tails off to make it right and take care of people. I feel bad with the way they are treated by other customers yelling about waiting a few minutes for their antipsychotic. Yeah, champ. Everyone in the store knows why you’re here and, believe me, we ALL want you medicated and elsewhere as soon as humanly possible. These guys are a bunch of saints with what they have to put up with in their attempts to help people. AI photo used for effect, but surprisingly accurate!

They are short staffed however, one can still be kind and maintain professionalism. We are adults, not petulant children(I expect more from my children to be clear). Taking out your frustrations, of a poor work environment, on your customers isn't appreciated nor warranted. Your customers are not the cause of your issue. Please apply pressure to the cause of the problem, not your fellow humans that are trying to get potential life saving medication. And customers: Respect runs both ways. Be respectful to ANYONE that works in the service industry. Manners matter. This, I hope, will be taken as constructive criticism and assist in realizing we are not the problem in most cases. Areas that need improvement: Phone and interpersonal skills are lacking in etiquette, warmth, professionalism, empathy, and kindness. I hope Smith's fixes your work environment. Until then, please don't take it out on us.

Here’s the thing: if you allow an option where providers can call in prescriptions, but you have zero intention of EVER checking said messages, you are causing direct harm to your patients and you have no business working in a pharmacy. That is lazy, that is harmful, and there is no excuse. Remove the option to call in a prescription, or check your messages. I had nothing a full 24 hours after my provider called in a prescription. When she sent it electronically, it took 5 minutes. This location is lazy and there is no excuse for the extra suffering patients undergo as they wait for medication they rely on you to fill.
