Wow, so this was probably the worst customer experience of my life, I don't normally complain, I understand people can have a bad day, this whoever that guy was, was just straight disrespectful and wasn't thinking at all before speaking. I had already submitted a complaint to GNC online, fortunately JD and the customer service team listened and responded in a timely manner, so they are the only reason they get the 1 star out of 5. I walk in, already knowing what I need and just wanted a quick check in, and out service right before I go to the gym. I couldn't see anyone from the counter so that I would be able to check out, and I look around and a man with dyed blonde hair and tattoo sleeve was restocking the shelves or something while sitting down. I go over and in a calm tone tell him that I'm ready to check out. He doesn't say anything and just walks to the counter. He asks for my phone number as a part of the GNC program, and I normally visit this store with my friend and he gives his phone number, but I was alone and I didn't want to provide my number. The next thing he says is "It's required, I need a number to check you out." I tell him I don't want to provide my phone number again in a calm manner, and he quickly starts raising his voice saying,"It's required." I wasn't wanting issues so I just gave him my phone number. I have shopped there alone before so after I give him my number he says," You have $15 in credit, do you want to use it?" I said no, it's ok. Immediately, he looks at me with a dirty look and says," Do you not know how this works?" I was genuinely confused because I simply said no to use my credit and he continues by saying," You've been disrespectful since the moment you walked in!" Again, very confused and he started yelling at me saying he didn't want to serve me, and that he was going to call the security if I didn't leave. Again, as someone who's been there multiple times, no one else has treated me this badly. I simply left. I'm not one to escalate things unless it's absolutely needed. So I just left. Please be on the lookout for that man.

**Worst Customer Experience and District Leadership was horrible*** This store and specifically their District Manager probably delivered the worst customer service experience ever. I tried going to the store during their advertised open business hours, but they were closed. This wasn’t the first time I tried going to this store and found out they were closed during their scheduled hours. I ended up ordering online, but decided to take the time to submit feedback through their website. The online customer service rep was good, took my feedback and offered to have the District Manager reach out to me. When JD, the District Manager did, he just straight out said they didn’t have someone available to work and told me “it happens.” No proactive attempt to keep me as a customer, no genuine apology or acceptance of ownership. It felt like I was inconveniencing him. How about an apology or willingness to take make things right. If GNC just wants me to order online, maybe they should just close the store for good and get rid of their District Managers, it’s not like they are doing anything to keep customers.

I was able to get one heck of a deal on some GNC bulk 1340 weight gainer during a BOGO 50% and Memorial Day sale, plus an online discount. I got the double chocolate, flavor is solid and mixes up well. I always use 2% and helps make it more "shake" like. Doing half a serving for me is perfect for what I'm trying to accomplish so one bag lasts me a month, about $2.80/serving at full price, $1.50 for what I paid. I've tried evogen super huge, muscle milk gainer, and ON serious mass. This holds up pretty well with all 3. Mason already had my order ready for me when I got there. Very nice and friendly guy. I didn't shop any in store but the store was clean and well stocked. If I wasn't from out of town, I would absolutely be back. Thank you for a solid trip in!
