We have been coming to this Target Optical location for years and have always had great experiences with Chase. He has consistently been welcoming, friendly, and professional, which is why today’s experience was so surprising. I had an appointment scheduled for 5:20 p.m. At 5:12, I called to let the office know that traffic was terrible and that my GPS estimated I would arrive at 5:29. I was told that as long as I arrived by 5:30, they would still be able to see me. Being 7 months pregnant, I hurried as fast as I could. I literally rushed in through the door and reached the front desk just as the clock turned to 5:31. Chase seemed visibly annoyed, not necessarily at me, but in general, he had a bad attitude and spoke to me in a way that felt rude and dismissive. I politely asked if he could at least check with the doctor to see if I could still be seen, but he immediately said no and made no attempt to ask or help in any way. I completely understand that offices have schedules to maintain and that being late can affect appointments. However, considering I had called ahead, was only one minute past the time I was told, and made every effort to get there as quickly as possible, I was disappointed that there wasn’t even an attempt to see if an exception could be made. The lack of empathy and willingness to help was what left me feeling let down.

You guys are so great! Thank you for the great service! Thank you for going over all the procedures before hand, and breaking down my glasses price with my insurance. Prices are great and flexible especially if you have Eyemed insurance! Im sure it’s a thankless job, especially after seeing that other review, sheesh. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping me and my family and the Sandy area get the best possible vision they can!
