I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience.
A few years ago, I was a member at Club Pilates, likely around the COVID timeframe. One of my friends also took a class at your location a couple of years ago, while our third friend has never tried Pilates before. Since it had been several years for both of us, we decided to sign up for the free introductory class together to see if Pilates was something we wanted to get back into.
We are currently exploring different fitness studios, and I specifically suggested Club Pilates because I had been a member in the past. When I spoke with the sales representative, I was completely transparent that I had previously been a member and that my friend had taken a class before. She told me that it would not be an issue given how much time had passed and because she was unable to locate my information in the system. She also mentioned current membership specials, and I fully intended to sign up after the class if it felt like a good fit. While I can’t speak for my friends, I was planning to become a member.
Shortly afterward, I received a message from the General Manager stating that our appointments had been canceled and that if we wanted to attend, we would need to pay $35. My issue is not with the fee. We were already aware that we had attended classes years ago, and I would have gladly paid had that been communicated from the beginning.
What left a bad impression was the way the situation was handled. Rather than having a conversation with us, our reservations were simply canceled. This was especially frustrating after being told by a staff member that attending the class would not be a problem.
Unfortunately, this experience reminded me why I stopped attending several years ago. The communication felt dismissive, and the interaction reinforced concerns I previously had regarding management and customer service.
For anyone looking to get started with Pilates, I would highly recommend the Holladay location. The atmosphere, customer service, and overall experience have always felt much more welcoming. The staff genuinely seem interested in helping people reconnect with Pilates and find the right fit, rather than focusing solely on policies or sales.
Do better! There are too many amazing, women own, local Pilates popping up all over the valley, not some franchise who really doesn’t care about the experience, but just a dollar.

I love Club Pilates! As someone that suffers from an autoimmune arthritis, this is the only exercise that has been doable and helped me. Gabby, Brooke, Caleigh, Meghan, Kerri, Alissa, Kira, Emily, Mari are all super good, I make sure I take classes from different instructors through out the week.

Love Club Pilates the instructors are amazing!
I just attended a free intro class at Club Pilates in Mill Creek, and I had such a great experience. The instructor, Caleigh was incredibly welcoming, open, and flexible. She truly made me—and the other women in the intro class—feel comfortable and at home right away.
I was so impressed by how supportive and encouraging she was that I ended up purchasing a membership on the spot. The studio itself has a very warm, inviting atmosphere, and everything felt clean, professional, and well run. I also picked up a pair of Pilates socks before class, and the apparel is great quality.
It’s been about eight years since I’ve done any kind of regular physical activity, and this experience with Caleigh and Club Pilates genuinely motivated me to get moving again. I’m actually excited to come back and continue my Pilates journey, which says a lot.
Highly recommend this studio—especially if you’re new, getting back into fitness, or just looking for a positive and encouraging environment.
This place is amazing! The studio is clean and the instructor I had was very specific. However, she did not show us how to do moves only told us, which made it hard to complete some of the movements. Will not be back to the studio because of that.
