- ENEllie Nieporte6 days ago1.0I’ve been a loyal Warby Parker customer for years and have two pairs of glasses from them, so I was honestly really disappointed by my experience at the University Mall Orem location. I stopped in just to have my glasses tightened, which has always been a quick and easy experience at other Warby Parker locations. I also asked if I could get another sample pair of contacts because my last sample ripped literally the day after I got them. I’m still trying to decide if I even want to commit to ordering a full set, so I didn’t think it was an unreasonable question. Unfortunately, the employee helping me was incredibly rude from the start. She had another employee look up my account to see if I had even been there before or seen their doctor, and I was told they weren’t just going to give me another sample and that I’d need to pay and order contacts. Totally fine if that’s the policy — it was the way it was handled that upset me. The attitude, looks, and overall tone made me feel uncomfortable and honestly embarrassed. On top of that, I asked a simple question about cleaning my glasses and felt talked down to and embarrassed in front of other customers after a comment was made about me keeping my glasses in my purse. I’ve genuinely never had an experience like this at any Warby Parker before, which is why it was so surprising. Every other location has always been kind, welcoming, and helpful. Sadly, after this experience, I won’t be returning to this location.
