  Always a great experience! We love everyone there! All our children have been seen by Dr. Ghiz. Front desk Brandy is always very nice and respectful. In Financial accounts she is always understanding and fair . 100% recommend !

  I took my son in unexpectedly for an infection and everyone in the dental office made him and myself feel so much better about the situation. They were attentive and caring, everyone down to the receptionist was so kind. Highly recommended to any parent ! I watched them also interact with other patients and they all just genuinely care.

  I’m disappointed with our experience here and feel other parents should be aware of what happened. My young child was initially brought in and we were told he had “minor decalcification” on his front teeth. The situation was presented as something to monitor, and we were repeatedly told there often isn’t much done for baby teeth. Within just a few months, we were then told the only option was crowns under anesthesia in a hospital setting for a very young child and were referred to another office to have that done. As parents, that was incredibly overwhelming and upsetting. Before moving forward with anesthesia, we decided to seek a second opinion. It was only at that second opinion appointment that Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) was ever discussed with us as an option to help slow or halt the decay progression. Since receiving SDF treatment, the decay progression has been halted. We understand SDF is not a permanent solution and that, due to where his teeth are now, he will still eventually need crowns. However, a child under two years old who is not even talking yet should not have to undergo anesthesia and that level of dental trauma sooner than necessary if progression can safely be slowed. What is most upsetting is that we were never informed this option even existed in the earlier stages, before invasive procedures became part of the discussion. If we had been informed about SDF from the beginning, it’s possible we could have significantly delayed the progression and postponed the need for crowns and anesthesia while he is still so young. Parents should not have to seek out multiple dental practices just to receive complete information about standard treatment options. SDF is not some secret or experimental treatment. Parents deserve to be informed of all reasonable options before being told their toddler needs anesthesia and crowns. To their credit, after I raised these concerns, the office acknowledged they could have handled the situation better and stated they are now looking into offering SDF treatment in the future. I genuinely hope that helps other families avoid the stress we experienced.
