Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Always so helpful! Usually kind and professional. But then everyone has a bad day even the customer. Smiths is the only pharmacy that we will go through. Patience is also a fair quality.
Thanks Smiths pharmacy!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They even hired more technicians to deal the volumes of customers. After 5pm forget it, Come back the following day as your wait in line can and has exceeded 30 minutes.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my experience at the Smith’s Pharmacy in Brigham City, Utah, on the morning of 1/14
Earlier this morning, 9:30 a.m., I came to the pharmacy and spoke with an employee named Mandy. I provided my new insurance information in advance. My intention was to ensure that the process would be smooth and to avoid unnecessary waiting or distress, particularly given my child’s needs and the nature of the medications being picked up.
When I returned to the pharmacy one hour later, the staff did not recognize my name, had nothing prepared, and indicated that the issue was due to incorrect spelling from my doctor’s office. Despite my earlier visit and communication, no one appeared to have been watching for my prescriptions to arrive or taking steps to ensure continuity of care. As a result, I was required to stand in line with my autistic child and another child for over 20 minutes. This was precisely the situation I had attempted to prevent by coming in earlier.
The prescriptions I was picking up included mental health medications. At the time, my family is experiencing significant stress, and this delay and lack of communication added unnecessary emotional strain to an already difficult situation.
When I finally reached the counter to pay, I stated that I had been there earlier and that I was not going to apologize for my child experiencing a meltdown. In response, the pharmacist referred to me as a “Karen” and they laughed. No other staff members intervened or addressed this behavior just laughed.
Being insulted and mocked by a pharmacist—particularly while seeking mental health medication and while managing a child with a disability—was humiliating and deeply upsetting. As both a patient and a customer, I expect professionalism, empathy, and appropriate communication. While I do not expect perfection, I do expect to be treated with respect. I am not paid to maintain composure at all times; a licensed pharmacist is paid to uphold professional standards regardless of personal opinion or frustration.
I did speak with the store manager afterward to express how embarrassed and distressed I felt. However, given the seriousness of this incident, I believe it warrants corporate review.
I am requesting that this matter be formally investigated and that appropriate action be taken. I also ask that steps be implemented to ensure that patients—especially those with disabilities or mental health needs—are treated with dignity and accommodated appropriately in the future.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
