Restoration Smiles is truly exceptional. I came in feeling embarrassed and nervous after years of avoiding the dentist, but the entire staff immediately put me at ease. Shan, my hygienist, was amazing — patient, thorough, and naturally comforting. She explained every step in a way that made me feel informed instead of judged. Dr. Moon was fantastic as well. He was straightforward, compassionate, and took the time to build a treatment plan that felt achievable. I left feeling supported, understood, and genuinely hopeful about my dental health. I can’t recommend Restoration Smiles enough.

Amazing! I bring my 6 year old daughter here. I’ve never felt more comfortable at a dentists office. They are so warm and inviting. She was able to play a game in the waiting room and they took the time to turn it on for her. They also went over her xray in depth and I learned a lot. I found out what to expect for her dental future by receiving a thorough explanation. They didn’t get frustrated when she was difficult, they laughed it off and assured me that it was OK. (She has a fear of fluoride due to past nausea) They were very playful with her and gave her a tooth necklace at our first appointment to put her loose tooth in because she lost one that day. Then at the end of the appointment she was given a balloon and stickers! I’ve tried a lot of dentists and didn’t know I could like one this much! Thank you Restoration Smiles!

I had a really positive experience and wanted to share my appreciation for the whole team. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and efficient. The front desk made everything easy, and the assistants were kind, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. Dr. J Mai stood out for her honesty and patient-first approach. She took the time to explain my situation clearly and, instead of pushing for veneers, guided me toward the treatment that was actually right for my dental health. That level of integrity and care is something I truly respect and don’t take for granted. Overall, the entire team created a trustworthy and supportive environment. I’m grateful to have found a place that prioritizes patients’ well-being over unnecessary procedures. Highly recommend.

Wow, a 4.8-star rating, it’s what initially caught my attention and led me to schedule my baby’s appointment here. I was genuinely looking forward to great service and hoped to find a dentist my child could grow with long-term, as well as a provider for our entire family. However, the day before my appointment, I received a text saying there was a scheduling conflict and that I needed to come in earlier. That’s simply not reasonable. People choose appointment times because they fit their schedules, especially those who work. Many jobs require advance notice, and a last-minute change the day before is not acceptable. I’ve experienced something similar in the past with a dentist office, where appointments were shifted earlier because staff wanted to leave early instead of waiting for the last patient at 4 pm. When I brought up my concern, Mina responded by addressing me as “sir” and explained that several patients were booked for 4:00 PM. That raises another issue, why are multiple people scheduled at the same time, only to inconvenience clients afterward to fix the scheduling? It feels disrespectful of people’s time to expect them to adjust so easily, as if their schedules don’t matter. Not everyone has the flexibility to change plans last minute. I originally planned to just cancel and move on without leaving a review, but being addressed incorrectly as “sir” just really bothered me. I canceled my appointment immediately and will not be returning or recommending this office.

We have had a very unpleasant experience with this dental clinic, which we feel compelled to share—especially regarding our children’s visits, which were deeply disappointing because of the dentist’s meaning ,unfriendly and impatient ways to treat us . First, the most concerning issue was the attitude of the female dentist and her assistant. In sharp contrast to the friendly and professional front desk staff, the dentist appeared impatient and unfriendly. When we asked additional questions due to language barriers or expressed different opinions about the proposed treatment, she showed clear frustration. On several occasions, after stating her position, she left the treatment room abruptly, without any excuse, leaving us alone and we had to continue communication only with her assistant. Second, the clinic seemed unwilling to accept too much questions or discussion regarding the treatment plan. When we raised concerns about certain recommendations, the dentist’s assistant explicitly told us that if we were “looking for problems or mistakes ,” we should seek another provider. This approach lacks basic respect and leaves no room for meaningful communication. They ask if you’d like to choose a different clinic, but in reality, they can’t wait to kick you out as soon as possible.because they have prepared the referral letter for us before we visit. Third, there were also concerning issues with the proposed treatment plan. Both of our daughters were evaluated at this clinic, and we were told that a total of approximately 14 teeth required treatment, including fillings and crowns. Even though we clearly stated that, despite having insurance coverage, we preferred a more conservative and phased approach—treating only part of the issues first and observing—the dentist refused, stating that it would be trouble for her.Our older daughter, who needs treatment for four teeth, was scheduled for two separate visits. However, our younger daughter, who was said to need treatment for twelve teeth, was recommended to complete all procedures in a single visit with General Anesthesia . For a six years old girl, 6 out of 12 teeth were baby teeth ,does they really need crowns? No clear and Persuasive explanation was provided for this discrepancy, which raises concerns about whether the treatment plan was influenced, at least in part, by insurance considerations rather than purely medical necessity. As patients, we believe that parents have the right to participate in treatment decisions and engage in reasonable discussion. Even in the case of serious illnesses, doctors typically explain different treatment options and respect patient choice. Dental care should be no different. Questioning a treatment plan should not be treated as a challenge to professional competence. She said she has children of her own, but I didn't get the sense that she was able to put herself in another parent's shoes. In addition, for patients whose first language is not English, the clinic does not provide any translation support. This creates significant communication barriers and may affect the patient’s ability to fully understand treatment options and associated risks. Overall, the dentist’s level of professionalism and communication does not match the clinic’s Google ratings. The only positive aspect of our experience was the front desk staff, who were consistently friendly, patient. We will reserve the right to pursue this matter further, including filing a formal complaint with the appropriate regulatory authorities.
