Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

If you have to take a controlled substance and use a tele health provider stay away from here. I’m not the only one by the reviews either. They’re refusing to fill a prescription my physician sent because they’re showing he is “more than 50 miles away”. Well he’s a telemedicine doctor and I looked it up and there is no law stating the distance a provider needs to be from a pharmacy just that they need to have a Texas license. Only specifications is the 15 miles away law for rural doctors dispensing in their own office. This information of “distance limit” should be posted for all to see when they go into the pharmacy this way we’re not wasting our time. There’s a reason I see a Telemed doctor, I don’t have time during the week to go in person to see someone because I work 12 hour days, and then I have my toddlers on my days off.

Twice now I have arrived after the time that my prescriptions were supposed to be ready and was told they were not ready yet. Arrived today, waited behind another car for almost 30 minutes and when I pull up the lady was rudely shutting the door and said, sorry we're closed for lunch and the pharmacist is gone. So.... I wait in the parking lot until they open back up and sure enough my meds were still not ready. I said I would wait and was told I needed to pull around. I refused and the pharmacist named Debbie came over and advised that if I did not move and go around she would not fill my meds. I am moving my prescriptions and I am done shopping at Kroger at all. Walmart gets our $800 a month grocery bill, $300 a month gas bill and mine and my husband's several hundred dollar a month prescriptions and I will be letting everyone I know not to ship at Kroger. Horrible way to be treated after being a loyal Kroger customer for 30+ years.
