The staff and Dr were nice, welcoming, and patient. I was in and out with no issues and didn’t have to wait long to get seen. Will definitely come back next year!

On Friday June 26th I called this office for an appointment. My appointment was scheduled for July 7th and I gave the staff my insurance information to check at that time. I was told they accepted my insurance on this call.
On July 7th I arrived for my 2pm appointment and was told the vision portion of my insurance was, "canceled in 2023." I knew this was not correct. The staff member checking on this stated she called my insurance and was waiting for them to call back. I asked how long this was going to take and she replied, "I don't know." In the meantime I called my insurance plan and was told I had vision insurance. I also showed the staff my vision insurance on-line. The person checking all of this did not even try to review any of this and said very little. After close to an hour she said, "We don't take your insurance.' OMG! So what was it? I don't have any insurance or your office doesn't accept my insurance!? The other staff member present in this small office had been listening to everything. I asked her why my insurance hadn't been checked prior to my appointment. She responded with, "We attempted to call you this morning to tell you your insurance wasn't accepted." So here I was, waiting all this time with two completely different stories!! What a waste of time and what a disorganized office. No one took responsibility for this mess. The receptionist just kept stating, "We tried to call you this morning." And to note, I had also received a text messages confirming my appointment for the 7th!
I was so in need of new glasses and I called American Best in Spring Branch when I got to my car and they got me in that day. I was SO pleased with their care. They did all my testing, ie: cataracts, glaucoma, etc. American Best was so wonderful with everything i was glad the 1st office didn't work out!
I do not recommended W.E.Care Optometry. I haven't experienced such a mess in a long long time!

Terrible! I made my appointment two weeks ago; completed all their paperwork and arrived on time. Left me waiting for 30 minutes while the receptionist asked me medical questions in front of other patients, violating HIPPA. After all that I was told the equipment needed for my exam was not working. No one called to cancel my appointment or inform me of the broken equipment. I took a day off work and drove almost an hour for this appointment. Very unpprofessional.

Great care and professionalism. Insurance expert looked up my info quickly. She went above and beyond to look up information I didn’t even ask for saving me many hours and headaches. Dr was vey attentive and took my input very seriously. She used a technique and tools to ensure that the initial measurements were correct and made appropriate adjustments ensuring I had the correct prescription. Highly recommended.
