Sylvia in Pharmacy was excellent. She was very courteous and professional as she helped me. She also was very kindly explaining a new process to a
co worker for his customer who was getting impatient. She was a very good example of how to be a team member.

I love my HEB and have always had great experiences with the pharmacy however over the past 12 months I have run into the same issue 3 times and im not exactly sure how to fix the issue. A few months ago I picked up meds and when I got home I opened them and noticed one of my meds was short. I was supposed to get a total of 90 pills over a 30 day period. The bottle said 90 pills but after counting them I was 30 short which I just figured it was a one off miscount. I contacted the pharmacy and they explained that they have a pill counter and they said everything was showing correct. So I just dealt with it and didnt think much of it. A few months later it happened again. I was short 20 pills that time so I went back to the pharmacy and then explained because I opened them that they couldn't do anything which I understand. They explained i could have my meds recounted prior to pick up so I did that a few times and everything went smoothly. Its been a few months and I havent noticed any issues until yesterday when I picked up my meds and I could tell again by just looking at it that I was short and of course I was short by 15 this time. I dont know whay else I can do to prevent this from happening or what process I should go through because somewhere along the way im being shorted. Im hoping this isnt a common occurrence with everyone 🤨. Do better HEB.

Wow, I would have switched pharmacy much sooner had I seen all the other reviews. I've been getting my meds from here every month for several years and the service has been getting worse over time. From long lines to not getting the meds I need because they are out of stock. It happens way too often. It's very disappointing to call in an order, they tell me it will be ready by morning. I go next day and wait in line only for them to tell me they don't have all my meds because they are of stock. Especially for meds that I need to take every day and already had to wait one day because they are closed on Easter and are now out of stock. Not good.

I absolutely love H-E-B, and have had a smooth time picking up my meds from them until today. I was “helped” by Sylvia E, at first she said they don’t take VA card insurance but the clerk next to her clarified to her that they did. She seemed bothered to have to go the extra steps, and only got one of my meds covered. I NEVER, pay for meds since the Veterans Affairs pays for it all, anywho I ended up paying because of lack on training. She told me I could just take the one covered or pay for the rest, I’m sick of course I paid for the meds! I called the VA right after and they informed me she must of been using the wrong group number and that I shouldn’t have paid anything!
I can only imagine how many other VETERANS have suffered the same fate and had to pay for their meds due to the lack of training of the cashiers.
Please do better or I’d really reconsider being an in network pharmacy with the VA since you guys don’t know how to process them correctly.
