- PSPaul StadelmanJul 22, 20261.0I have bad news, unfortunately HEB isn’t perfect as I had originally assumed. It’s especially odd as this specific grocery location is so great. It’s my first time at this pharmacy and basically everything they told me changed multiple times. I called and they said medication would be ready in 30 minutes. I get there (40 min later) and they said it wouldn’t be ready for an hour. They said I would be able to pick up only one prescription my PCP ordered there and it turns out after more waiting I could pick up all of them. They said none were covered by insurance then it turns out they all were. This back-and-forth was very unprofessional. Again, beware HEB does make mistakes and when they do, it’s pretty rough.
- MDMelissa DMay 5, 20261.0I really want to like this pharmacy. The rest of the store is amazing and all of the other staff is super friendly. I’m not sure if the pharmacy is understaffed or just don’t like interacting with customers. There is only ever one cashier whether the line is three people long or ten. My biggest complaint is that prescriptions aren’t usually ready until eight to twenty four hours after they’re called in. I had a 7:00 am appointment this morning and my prescription was called in no later than 8:30 am. When I checked the app to see if it was ready at 7:00 pm, the app has a note that I can pick up tomorrow after 9:00 am and that the prescription is in process. How is this okay for people who need these meds same day? The slowness of filling prescriptions is always an issue. I don’t usually need my prescriptions right away, but 24 hour turn around is absolutely absurd. It’s so bad that I recommend to my friends to not use this location. I highly recommend going to a local pharmacy over this one.
