- SSSkyler SinkeAug 28, 20261.0HEB no longer recognizes PA’s and NP’s prescription authority. So if you see an NP or PA instead of an MD, just find a new pharmacy. Absolute insanity and disrespect. The stress this puts on patients trying to get refills is insane. And this location at least doesn’t inform you of this when you call to refill the prescription. They wait until you’re about to pick it up. Spoke to both a man and woman pharmacist about this and they both had an attitude and were snarky. The rule change happened within the last month (I had my prescription filled initially on July 24th) and now I’m being told they don’t recognize NPs or PAs anymore. No one called to inform me until now. Of course I wouldn’t make the “necessary corrections to my treatment plan.” Used to love this pharmacy and had been coming since I moved here, but absolutely not anymore and highly recommend patients look elsewhere.
