Five stars for the team at Club Pilates Round Rock! I started out booking through ClassPass, but I joined as a member so I could consistently get into the Reformer Flow 1 and 1.5 classes with my favorite instructors. Sarah, Amber, and Mercedes are extraordinary. They bring incredible energy to the reformer, keep the class pacing intentional, and offer thoughtful modifications and challenges that help you progress with confidence. Making sure I could reliably book Sarah's classes was literally the reason I signed up. Valarie is also fantastic; she subbed a session recently and was equally impressive with her instruction. If you are looking for knowledgeable, motivating instructors who make reformer work both challenging and approachable, this is the studio to join.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve met 100+ instructors over the past 15 years & today’s sub (Kim Breakey) is by far the worst ever. Bad attitude & super condescending. Extremely passive aggressive. So rude & just such a negative vibe.

I started going to this place and I am always mentally stimulated by the variety of exercises and equipments they use. The exercises are also not something we typically do on the daily basis, or basic workouts in gym classes. This targets all the surrounding muscles on my hip joints. I moved to a third floor and have been dreading going up the stairs. After a few days of doing Pilates in this gym, I walked up those stairs with no complaining, carrying a big bag of dog food on my shoulder. My hip and back pain are way less, not completely gone yet. I am looking forward to attend more classes and observe when my pains will completely go away. What a life-saver this is. There is also an element of play that I feel which is one of the best parts of working out. It does not feel like endless grinding workout. I am actually having fun doing it. As far as their staff and the specific location, they are so friendly and nice. Ample parking, we get freebies a lot of time, and the instructors give clear and easy-to-follow instructions. I highly recommend this place and reformer Pilates in general.

The "Free" class requires that you buy a pair of grip socks. I brought the pair of grip socks that I used after surgery. A hospital felt they were grip socks, but club Pilates said they would not work. No problem, I only had to pay $18 for the cheapest pair of their grip socks. The instructor, I think her name was Kim, was not very pleasant about this. I decided to leave. After leaving, I looked at how much grip socks are on Amazon. I could buy nine pair of grip socks for $18. I'm sure at Walmart or somewhere like that, they are even less expensive. I also thought it was weird that they didn't tell me I needed the grip socks the week before when I signed up for the class. They told me 2 days before I was to come in for the class. There was no mention that they had to be specific grip socks. I assumed if a hospital who has liability in mind would accept them, club Pilates would accept them.
