- APAyesha PageMar 30, 20261.0I am a long time unlimited member of club Pilates so that means I pay A lot each month. This is not the usual studio I go to but I decided to give it a try for a 6:30 class since I go to so many other ones. Usually if a level 2 doesn’t have a waitlist that means it’s not a good instructor teaching it. The 6:30 one didn’t have a waitlist so I knew the instructor was not going to be amazing but I was willing to give it a try. What I didn’t realize was how many traffic lights there were to get here. Anyways I got there at 6:36 for a 6:30 class. And yes I am aware of the 5 min late policy. I just never have been 5 mins late before. So at 6:36 they told me I can’t go in. Now here’s the reason why. The instructor Cheryl realized that another person could fill up the spot at the last minute and decided that she would take that person instead. Instructors are paid more if the class is full. Since they were able to get the class full without honoring my booking , that’s why they turned away me away. Club Pilates barely offers level 2 classes. Their model is getting new members in constantly and new members can’t go to level 2 right away. So they offer 90% level 1 & 1.5 classes. I only wanted to go to this since it’s a level 2 but I guess all I do is pay the exorbitant fees without getting the actual use out of it

I second all the other rave reviews here about knowledgeable and supportive instructors and management, clean well organized studio space, and friendly environment. I've never enjoyed exercise this much or felt this welcomed at another gym/ studio.
