  DON’T TAKE CHERYL E.’S CLASSES!! I’ve been a member for a couple months now and aside from most level 2 classes being fully booked, I’ve had good experiences with the instructors. That is until today. I took my first class with Cheryl E., not my first suspend class, my 1st calls with her. And I will never do that again. I accidentally got in the wrong position & instead of politely correcting me, she calls out front of the whole calls she says, “I don’t know how one can do a plank from that position.” Such underhanded, passive aggression is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I already planned on leaving the studio because of the difficulty booking classes, but now there’s no question. And I’m here to warn anyone who hasn’t taken her class, don’t, unless you feel like getting embarrassed in front of the entire class. I have nothing but great stuff to say about all the other instructors I’ve had: Astrid, Holly, Miranda. I can’t remember any other names.

  My experience with Peggy was extremely disappointing. Rather than creating an encouraging environment, her behavior feels intimidating, discouraging, and at times, like bullying. She can be unnecessarily aggressive and microaggressive, including touching or banging on the reformer in a way that feels more intimidating than instructional. Pilates should be a space where clients feel supported and respected—not singled out or made uncomfortable. Unfortunately, Peggy’s behavior is discouraging, unprofessional, and ultimately bad for business. She’s there on Sundays - avoid if you can.

  I love Carrie’s Pilates, it has been more than one year I am going to Carrie’s Pilates in Plano. I love all the instructors and friendly front desk managers who always make me feel I come home to my sport family. I would mention most of all: Ariana Ansari, Krissy Tyson, Jaida Jackson, Jordan Hinnant, Lori Harding, Jasmin Lacey, Makenzie, ...and many other who I don’t know their name, but all of them greeting everyone by their name every day.
