  Oge the pharmacist is unbelievably rude— not sure how he still has a job. He refused to speak to me on the phone when I was sick and had a question for him. He was busy so he kept trying to hand the phone to the tech and I repeatedly nicely explained that my question is for someone who went to pharmacy school. He tried to argue with me (which is behavior I’ve NEVER in my life seen from a medical professional before meeting Oge). Today I tried to get labels printed off for travel sized prescription bottles (I’ve done this before) and he REFUSED. I was a Kroger tech for 5 years and my parents were Kroger pharmacists for 20+ years, so I know how a pharmacy runs. I asked if this was now a state law or a Kroger policy and Oge couldn’t/wouldn’t answer me. If it’s a rule, it’s a rule, and I understand that (although it didn’t used to be a rule because I’ve done it before) but I’d like to at least receive an explanation and be told where the “rule” comes from. Pharmacists are required to know state and federal laws, as well as Kroger policies. If Oge doesn’t know laws regarding this scenario, what else does he not know? I’ve noticed he also never counsels me on new meds, which is surprising since EPRN used to always required an RDAC to proceed with releasing a new RX to a patient. I was a floater tech and have worked with 50+ pharmacists over the years, and I’ve never seen one that cares so little about their patients. But I think what was most disappointing was when I talked to the store managers Stephen and Jason. They said there is nothing they could or would do to help me. When I worked for Kroger the store managers would willingly listen to customer complaints and talk to pharmacy staff about how to improve, but these guys don’t want to do anything. They must be buddy buddy with Oge. It’s sad to have worked for the company (and come from a family that served the company for decades) and be met with such apathy and unwillingness to help now that I’m on the customer end. It’s ironic considering the number of trainings I went through about placing the customer’s needs first. I’ve always liked filling here because I know how EPRN works but it looks like I’m going to be switching to Costco or HEB pharmacy.

  This pharmacy is always nice kind and professional to me 😊I won't even go to another location bc they are better than other pharmacies I've gone too .Thank u

  If you are looking to fill prescriptions that you NEED in order to function, don't send them here. I had a doctor send an extremely important prescription that I desperately need to this location. The following day, I went to see if it landed and to get a price check. After asking my name and date of birth and fumbling around in the system for several minutes they said they had no information regarding my prescription. I showed them my prescription on the quick MD app, after which they magically found it somehow. They quoted me a price higher than I expected, so I attempted to get the prescription filled at another location. I was unable to do so due to unrelated circumstances, so the following day I came back to Kroger to just pick up the prescription at the price they quoted the previous day. Same deal - they couldn't find the prescription until I showed them my app. After they finally found it, they let me know that they did not have the medication in stock and would not have it in until Monday at minimum. (It is a Friday and this is a medication I need to take twice daily.) I had called them earlier in the day and requested a 4:30 p.m. pick up time for my medication. It was confirmed in their automated system. Where did it go? Was it ever there? Zero compassion from the person at the pickup window, I even picked up a little bit of humor in his expression. I'm glad my existential dread and anxiety brought you a little bit of joy. I otherwise love my local Kroger, but this pharmacy is run by kindergartners. STAY AWAY!!!

  We switched to this pharmacy from the Kroger on Cullen due to errors and poor communication. This one is no different. I ordered 4 refills yesterday. My husband picked up 3 today without knowing better. I called to find out where the missing one was. I was on hold for so long, I had to hang up. No explanation, no communication. I had my husband call back. Apparently, they were out of my RX and need to order more. They just never mentioned it. Incompetent
