  Es un lugar con muchos lineamientos estrictos de higiene. me siento tranquilo de estar en un lugar con personal capacitado. La atención es muy buena, los y las flebotomistas son muy amables. Los baños están limpios siempre, hay agua para beber gratuita y también hay máquinas expendedoras de golosinas. A pesar de que el lugar casi siempre está vacío, se siente un ambiente muy agradable. Las personas que asisten seguido conmigo son muy amigables, he hecho un par de amigos.

  Unprofessional, Nasty Attitude First of all, the people at the front desk were openly discussing other people’s business. They were talking about a patient’s private screening answers, why he was rejected, and describing him in enough detail that it was obvious who they were referring to. Everyone around could hear personal information about this patient, which I’m pretty sure violates HIPAA rules. Additionally, it was my first time ever donating, and wow! shocking! I felt sick. The staff acted like it was the rarest thing they had ever seen. It was incredibly nasty and unprofessional to gather in a group, gossip, repeatedly glance over at me, lock eyes with me, and whisper about the situation. Honestly, I’m not surprised. The valley seems to have a problem with 30 year olds acting like they’re still in high school. Grow up. It’s your job. These things happen, and there’s no reason to gossip and make someone feel even more uncomfortable and vulnerable during an already stressful experience. I am grateful that the three main staff members attending to me were kind, attentive, and supportive, especially since it was a stressful first-time process. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the physician with the short curly hair who attended me. She was extremely rude and condescending. We’re both adults, and there was no reason to speak to me with that tone. She told me that I needed to eat at least an hour before donating and that I had eaten too early. Well, I wonder why. Maybe because I’m literally new to this and the new patient screening process took hours. No snacks were provided either. She also bluntly told me to “just calm down.” Right. Thanks for stating the obvious. There was absolutely no need for any of that.
