John McElroy, M.D.

Dr. John McElroy is a spine specialist with advanced training in both open and minimally invasive spine surgery. A Texas native, he earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern and completed orthopedic surgery training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. He then pursued a spine fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona, where he mastered procedures like microdiscectomies, laminectomies, spinal fusions (ALIF, TLIF, PLIF), disc replacements, scoliosis surgery, and spinal cord stimulator placement.
