I attempted to cancel sessions for the month of May and request a refund after realizing there was a 30-day cancellation policy that was never clearly explained to me upfront. What made the situation worse was the way the manager handled the conversation. Instead of showing empathy or trying to resolve the issue professionally, I felt judged and unfairly treated for simply asking questions about my account and refund options. The interaction came across as dismissive, hostile, and, honestly, discriminatory in the way I was spoken to compared to other customers in the studio. I understand businesses have policies, but transparency and respectful customer service matter. Accusing or implying that a customer is making an “unethical” request because they were unaware of a policy is completely unacceptable. The entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this location to carefully review all cancellation terms beforehand and be prepared for how management may respond if issues come up.
