  Dr. Offutt and his staff have been incredible for all three of our children. He saved us from much suffering with two perfectly successful tongue tie laser procedures, he and his staff have helped a very anxious toddler feel as comfortable as possible for cleanings, and he responded and helped when my toddler had an emergency fall and hit her teeth. Dr. Offutt is kind, professional, and goes above and beyond. He and his staff have been respectful of my natural/holistic desires, and I have not felt pressured to do things a certain way - they provide knowledge, respect, and help. It takes a lot for me to trust doctors and medical professionals, and I could not ask for more from a dentist or their office. A++++ Thank you so much, Dr. Offutt and team!

  Not enough patient education. These are children and the dentist is not telling parents about xylitol. He wants to drill and fill pre cavities which is no longer standard practice. This is an older doctor who is not Texas Health steps compliant.Especially beware if you are not using insurance as he will no suggest fluoride treatment and is anti fluoride.

  My daughter got her lip and tongue ties revised here at 5 days old in December, but over the past couple months I noticed the symptoms returning. To me it looks like the tongue tie reattached and is even more restricted than it was initially. (It was a posterior tie at first and now attaches further up her tongue, I can barely even lift her tongue up.) She has been spitting up after nursing, makes a clicking sound while nursing, wakes all night long, and is unable to suck to hold a pacifier in her mouth or my finger when I try to test her suction. I took her back to Dr Offutt and he looked at it very quickly and told me it was fine and he didn’t want to mess with it, but it’s unacceptable to me that we opted for this intervention and the reattachment has left her worse off. I’m concerned about the life long health issues that come with ties. I’m disappointed though because they said it would be free to fix the attachment with the initial Dr and I will now have to pay for this procedure again. It leaves me questioning this Dr’s competence and/or ethics. I shared my concerns with the front office and was never contacted about it. I did get a second opinion and that Dr agreed her tongue tie was reattached and quite tight. I would not recommend this place for those looking at tie revisions.

  I've been taking my teenagers here since they've been toddlers. Front staff is great and the dentists are amazing. My kids are comfortable going to the dentist and I give that credit entirely to the people who work here (because I know it didn't come from me!). Highly, highly recommend

  I love Dentistry for Children because they are incredible . Dr. Offut is the greatest pediatric Dr ever!!!.... The staff is awsome. I trust everyone there with my child. My daughter loves going to visit everyone .EVEN when she doesn't have a appointment . 😀 .
