  I was disappointed with my experience at this eye clinic and optical department. The customer service staff were polite, but the communication was very poor. I was promised a callback multiple times and never received one. It was frustrating having to follow up myself without getting clear answers. The eye examination itself was average, but the lack of professionalism and follow-through left a negative impression. I hope they improve their communication and customer care in the future.

  Terrible experience here. First, the shop is supposed to open at 9am according to Google and the sign on the door. The first time I went last month, staff rolls in around 10:15am (and according to other Target employees I asked, they usually don't get there until 10am). Second, I got a few weeks later to pick up the glasses I ordered. The lenses were way off -- completely blurry in half of my right side (more on that in a minute). They suspect the pupillary distance (PD) they measured is wrong. Instead of measuring again, they just say they'll reorder using the same PD as for the glasses I got 3 years ago they still have in the computer. I go again to pick up the newly remade pair (more weeks later) and the lenses are somewhat better, but still wrong. This time, I took them with me, and took them to a different Target Optical in Dallas. There, they looked at the glasses, very carefully looked at everything and remeasured my PD, and told me the height and horizontal PD were way off. They are now making them again. Oh, and at this one in Mesquite, they didn't even offer to have me sit down and try to adjust the glasses to my ears -- I had to ask for that. They just handed the glasses across the counter and wanted to send me on my way. Do not recommend. Go to a different Target Optical.

  Vanessa, the store manager was AMAZING! She helped me with my glasses & helping me find my insurance. She was always very nice & helpful, totally worth the 2 hour drive for me

  Went to inquire about adding prescription to my wafer Metas. Did not have them with me, so I went home to get them came back and showed them to Mya store person I had been working with. She said she will call me back to get order placed. Waited till 5pm and no call back so I called and she said give her till 6pm well no call again. called again on Tuesday and she apologized and said would call me back again. Waited till 5pm and no call once again. So i called this morning to get a number for customer relations and she gave me Ray Ban directly. Not Target Optical. She called me back about 15min later and said she was sorry for giving me Ray Bans number, and that she can now take care of me. Well with in those 15min I called another Target and got order placed with no PROBLEM. Very bad customer service at Mesquite location.
