  I just wanted to share what a great experience we had with Home Instead. I had contacted them to visit my Dad in a skilled nursing facility on days I couldn't make it. It worked out wonderfully. They gave him companionship (even though he's very reticent & quiet), and worked with him on some of his rehab exercises. Jay and his team were very professional, and friendly. Great communication, always checking in to see if everything was working out. Jay went above and beyond in doing some research for me when I was looking to move my Dad to a new facility. Always grateful. Thanks!

  Moved to Allen, TX, from South Carolina recently and needed home health care for my wife with dementia and Alzheimer's of seven years duration. Contacted Home Instead, who sent two members to evaluate her. Arranged for Wednesday and Friday specifically, which started several weeks ago. The caregiver, Caryn, has been simply outstanding in her efforts to provide the necessary care for my wife, who has responded so well. Caryn obviously does this work for the right reasons, as seen on each visit, as her compassion is quite evident. While there is some variation each time, she generally makes the bed, makes sure my wife is clean and dressed, and receives breakfast. This is usually followed by a walk. Later, she will prepare lunch, clean up as necessary, and more recently has either played a game or done a puzzle. Sometimes they watch a game show on TV, which my wife also enjoys, as it is in “real time” and she can understand it. All in all, Home Instead has certainly lived up to its reputation. I could not be happier with the care given to my wife while I am off doing work.

  The Home Instead caregivers are so sweet and helpful to my parents - they are talented and reliable - and the scheduler is super when we need to schedule extra hours! Diane, who comes weekly, prepares wonderful food and is a whirlwind at getting things done; and, more importantly, my parents feel respected and cared for when she is here!!!

  Fifi is fabulous. We have had such a great experience with our caretakers for my mom, and Fifi goes above & beyond our expectations. She truly cares for Mom and treats her with love, respect, & dignity. We praise the Lord for Fifi!
