I give this place a -10 but unfortunately you have to give them at least one or you won't be able to post I tried giving them no starsdo not recommend this place at all they never answer the phone that say it's because they're always short-handed spent over $400 for glasses that was not correct social security requested a copy of my eye exam and they have never received it so they called me and then I called The Grange vision center and they gave me this big line of crap saying they can't do it without a whole bunch of other paperwork done and when you first have a visit they are just polite and sweet and nice but as soon as they have your money they just turn into monsters very rude very uncaring very unsympathetic at all this absolutely has to be the worst place I have ever done business with in my life and I've done business with some pretty shity companies in no way will my family ever do business with this company again and as far as any phone calls don't make no phone calls there because you will get attitude very bad attitude I have seriously regretted going there since the day we got our glasses which took a lot longer than what they was supposed to and what they said they was going to do yourself a favor go somewhere else don't put yourself through this.

I confirmed my insurance and everything was covered. I had frames already but the lady at the desk was insisting on getting frames with them because “not all glasses are approved for their lenses” anyways, I picked a pair of glasses. My insurance covered them 100% because I made sure of the price because I didn’t need frames but she was pushy about it. She added on so many extras to my glasses a few items she didn’t give me the choice but come to find out these were all optional… $189 dollars of optional. She told me my glasses would be ready the following Wednesday. I called Tuesday to check if I could pick them up. I was told No they were not ready check back the next week. I called that following week, no they were ready. I took about 4 weeks for my glasses if not longer. I went in grabbed them and left. She assured me that whatever she added to my glasses that was $80 something would reduce glare at night when im driving, the glare is terrible and night time is when I need my glasses the most. The glare is worse on these than my pair that doesn’t have anything added to them. She added some blue light protector to it basically everything that was insisted to be added to my glasses has caused issues… I won’t be back unfortunately.

I scheduled appointments for my daughter and husband for eye exams and confirmed how much the appointment would be. I was told we had a $10 co-pay for the eye exam, and then the person who handles the billing was explaining the co-pay for glasses. I explained that we just needed the prescription for their glasses, as we purchase from Zenni Optical online. I confirmed again that we would only owe a $10 co-pay for each of them. She was very pushy about purchasing glasses through their office, but I kept reiterating that we would not be purchasing glasses from their store. My 16 year old daughter went to her appointment alone because I was working and then my husband went later in the day to his appointment an informed therm he’d be paying for my daughter’s appointment. They then told him that the total owed was $98. He called to let me know, and that’s when they informed me that there was also a $39 payment due for a “wellness exam” for each of them. He went ahead and paid and I called back to cancel their appointments that the office had set for next year. The woman who answered asked why I was cancelling, I informed her that we would be moving to a different office, as I felt they had not been transparent with me regarding the cost of the visit. She began to argue with me and raise her voice. I had to stop her and repeat that I wanted to cancel their appointments. She was very rude about the whole situation and I feel like they were simply trying to get as much money out of me as they possibly could since we weren’t purchasing glasses through them. I would not recommend them to anyone!
