Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I had one of the most frustrating pharmacy experiences I’ve ever dealt with, all because of Cedric. He was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to take accountability. My daughter’s medication was not refilled correctly, and when I brought it to his attention, instead of explaining the situation clearly or helping resolve it, he acted like we didn’t know what we were talking about.
He shorted us on medication and could not properly explain why. When I asked questions, he did not provide clear answers — just deflection and attitude. Rather than trying to fix the issue or submit a complaint like I requested, he refused to help and acted as if mistakes “don’t happen” where he works. That response alone shows a lack of professionalism and basic customer care. Accidents do happen — but refusing to acknowledge the possibility and refusing to help correct them is unacceptable.
As a parent, I should not have to argue to get accurate medication for my child. I’ve never had this issue before, and the way this was handled was pitiful. If you cannot clearly explain medications, take concerns seriously, or assist with resolving an error, you should not be in a position responsible for people’s health.
This situation will be escalated because patients deserve competence, transparency, and respect — none of which were provided in this interaction.
This is all been recorded and definitely gonna Be handled by somebody who can actually do their job! I’m on the phone with a different Kroger pharmacy and they said Cedric should have tried resolving issues or send a escalated complaint but this guy said he’s the boss and there’s no way he shorted us but like I asked him so there’s no way to make a mistake!
