Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I had a really disappointing experience at the pharmacy today.
I brought in a manufacturer e-coupon for Flonase that was sent directly by my doctor. The coupon clearly stated it was accepted at Kroger, but the pharmacist immediately dismissed it as fake without taking the time to properly review it.
While trying to resolve the issue, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Another customer attempted to politely explain that these types of coupons are common, but the pharmacist interrupted him and told him to stop speaking. I was then spoken to in a raised and confrontational tone multiple times.
Eventually, after asking for a store manager, the issue was resolved when we located a barcode on the coupon—but by that point, the interaction had already become uncomfortable and unprofessional. The pharmacist continued returning to the counter to argue, which only added to the situation.
I want to be clear: I understand that policies exist and verification is important. However, there is a way to handle uncertainty without being dismissive or disrespectful to customers.
The store manager did apologize and made things right, which I appreciated. But the behavior I experienced from the pharmacist was not acceptable, and I hope this feedback leads to better customer interactions in the future.

ScoreCard: A
Update 4/2018: This location gets their fuel octane 87 from Mobil (yaay!). Premium fuel at discounted price. This is our Primary grocery store . Highly recommend. (Note: when using self checkout kiosk , do me a favor and tap on the bottom right screen that’s says “volume” twice; it will mute the sound and you will no longer hear “Place the item in the bag”).

This Kroger Pharmacy always courteous and very helpful. Prompt on refills. Pharmacy employees always great. Don't like new BIG store. Not user friendly. Layout and arrangement of food-merchandise just not adequate. Shopping is like shopping in a maze. Men's restroom by pharmacy always messy and in need of attention. Kroger needs to employ Consultant specializing in public restroom design and start over with this one.

I love the store as its very large and pretty clean. The pharmacy is very slow, possibly understaffed and not the most professional . 8:45 they turned away people and others still waiting for RX to be filled. In the past I have tried to get a RX transferred and they said it would take 24hrs. I strongly recommend another pharmacy if you have a life outside of the pharmacy.
