  We love this HEB pharmacy . Excellent service until you need to get a flu shot here .Waited 20 mins before they gave you the paper work to sign, then another 20 minutes before they actually gave you the shot. We were the only customer at first.If we did not let them know after that 40 mins wait, they would have kept let us wait even longer than that 40 minutes unnecessarily until they finished other customers 'order came after us. Also, there was no paper vaccination card available if that is what you would like . Just don't come for flu shot Their other services are great overall.

  I wanted to try a new pharmacy, so I had my prescription filled at HEB. My first experience went great, so when it was time for my refill, the nurse practitioner at my provider’s office sent the prescription to HEB again. About a week later, HEB contacted me to let me know they could not fill my prescription because my appointments over the past few months had been with a nurse practitioner rather than the physician. I understand that pharmacies have policies they have to follow, but this was very disappointing and confusing. There was no issue filling my prescription the first time, so as a customer, how would I have known this would suddenly be a problem? I also don’t necessarily control whether my appointment is scheduled with the physician or a nurse practitioner, especially when nurse practitioners often have appointments available sooner. What frustrated me the most was the delay in communication. My medication had already been on back order for several weeks, so waiting another week just to find out HEB would not fill it was extremely inconvenient. I really wish I had been contacted sooner so I could have made other arrangements.

  Always a great experience and good prices and wonderful service. HEB Pharmacy is the standard, bar none. Even better than Costco pharmacy!
