I had a great experience with Dr. Kristi Sumpter and her staff, Tim and Misty, At Winds Of Change Cosmetic Surgery Center in January 2026, and with all follow-up visits after my facial cosmetic surgery procedures. They are all very nice, pleasant, caring and accommodating people to interact with, and I will use Dr. Sumpter for any future cosmetic or body surgery procedures I may choose to do.

I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Sumpter in September 2023. This was my first breast augmentation, and I followed all post-operative instructions carefully. I attended my follow-up appointments, followed the recommended recovery process, and was cleared to return to normal activity on schedule. Nearly three years later, I am still dealing with issues that I began raising at my very first follow-up appointment. My scars remain extremely noticeable and still look relatively fresh. I am a Caucasian female, who has had multiple surgeries in my lifetime, and this has never happened with any other scar. They are approximately five inches long, positioned across the middle of the underside of my breasts, and are a dark reddish-purple color. I can also still feel what appears to be part of a suture. I specifically asked about this during a follow-up appointment and was told that it would eventually dissolve, but it has not. More concerning is the position of one of my breasts. It sits noticeably off to the side, extending partially into my underarm, and causes me severe pain on a daily basis. I repeatedly expressed concerns about the positioning, scarring, and discomfort beginning shortly after surgery. Each time, I was told to give it more time and to continue massaging and squeezing the implants because everything would eventually settle and be fine. At my six-month follow-up, I again raised my concerns. I was told to continue doing what I had been doing and that my breasts “looked great.” I was also told that Dr. Sumpter could attempt to correct the issues, but there were no guarantees. On top of that, I was told I would be responsible for the surgery center costs and the cost of a new implant for the breast that is positioned incorrectly. I trusted the process and repeatedly followed the advice I was given, hoping that time would resolve these problems. Nearly three years later, it has not. I am left with significant scarring, an implant that appears improperly positioned, and daily pain. Based on my personal experience, the results of my surgery, and the way my concerns were handled during follow-up care. I would not recommend Dr. Sumpter to anyone considering breast augmentation or any other cosmetic procedure.

It’s not easy finding a doctor that really cares for their patients. Dr Sumpter and her staff are just wonderful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
