Ms. Shrice is fabulous at the Galleria location. First I called for directions in the Galleria. She directed me perfectly.
I thought one pair of my glasses needed the lenses changed. They do not. Ms. Shrice adjusted and cleaned both sets of glasses. She is calm, professional, and a delight.

I needed help adjusting my glasses. Originally, they kept slipping down my nose, but after going to Lens Crafter they were perfectly adjusted thanks to the help of Bruce. Thanks again! Great experience, would 100% recommend going!

Carolyn May did an outstanding job fixing my glasses. She replaced my lenses and nose pads and took the time to make sure everything fit perfectly. She was incredibly kind, patient, professional, and paid attention to every detail. I truly appreciated the care she put into making sure my glasses were comfortable and looked great. Excellent customer service—I highly recommend her!

This was my first experience with LensCrafters, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating one from start to finish.
My initial visit felt rushed while setting up my appointment, but I overlooked it because I was excited to get new glasses and appreciated that my insurance was accepted. During my appointment, Bruce was helpful, professional, and took the time to listen to my needs. He was easily the highlight of my experience.
However, things became disappointing once I moved into the purchasing process. I was only shown pricing starting with the most expensive lens options, and one of the frame choices I was considering was removed before I had the opportunity to compare my options. I was initially quoted nearly $1,000 for lenses alone, which felt excessive even after discounts and insurance were applied. When I expressed concern, financing options were immediately suggested rather than discussing more affordable alternatives. Only after I specifically asked for the lowest-priced lens options was I presented with a significantly less expensive choice.
The issues continued after receiving my glasses. The first pair of frames turned out to be too small, something that should have been caught during the fitting process. Multiple return visits were required for adjustments, and I often felt like staff members were distracted by other tasks instead of focusing on resolving my concerns. During one adjustment appointment, my feedback about the fit seemed to be ignored, and I was even encouraged to leave a Google review before my issue had been resolved, which felt inappropriate.
I eventually returned under the 30-day guarantee to exchange the frames for a larger size. While the replacement frames fit much better, the prescription was incorrectly positioned in the lenses, resulting in yet another return visit to correct the problem.
By the time I reached my sixth visit, I was exhausted by the process. What should have been a straightforward purchase became a series of corrections, adjustments, and return trips. While a few employees were friendly and helpful, the overall experience felt more focused on moving customers through transactions than ensuring they left with the right product and a positive experience.
I hope this feedback helps improve training, communication, and quality control. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location and will be looking elsewhere for my future eyewear needs.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
